The Mods

Ive been a mod, it is hard especially when 10-12 year old kids are telling you how to do your job.

 

I was 11, at the time of you being mod, it shouldn't be an issue if my criticism was constructive.
(Even though I was bad at everything then :v)

You werent one of the bad ones. The ones that asked to change the map and they'll buy me stuff

 

I made a post once, it went kinda like this:

Imagine if you were a mod. it is morning, 7 o clock. you think: Lemme play some Mcbrawl! when suddenly. WAPOW! it is a monday! you have to go to school in 1 hour and you still need to pack your things, help your parents, make some food, take a shower and get your clothes.

after aboute 7 hours of school, you come back home and think: Ok, now time to play mcbrawl! however, you still need to make Homework. you know? the 10 books you need to answer questions in? yeah, life is difficult sometimes.
so it is around 17:00. finished with homework. you can finally go on the computer. but then you realise that there is also the forums! you join the forums, only to be welcomed by 50 alerts and 3 conversations about some pointless crap.


and finally... at 18:00. you are FINALLY allowed to play some games... you join the server and? oh yeah, 50 fanboys scream:HAAAI MOD? CEN U HALP PLIZ? DIS GUI GILTCHED LAIK 5 METCHES NAO! so then you can finally do what you want to do. and then after an hour of helping (it is 19:00 now) you can finally play some games and have fun! but then your dad comes in and says: Time for dinner! shut down the computer!



This post is basicly a mods life in a nutshell :V
in other words in a nutsHELL.

 

Yep, pretty much.

 

If there is one thing i hate: it is people *****ing about the mods not doing ****.

I swear to god. those people should either:
1. get a life
2. apply themselves and see how it is.

 

Exactly, I am actually in school right now . Still always on the forums tho... Probably why I failed like 3 classes...

 

Moderating a single server isn't that hard. Just saying.

Some of my Rules:
- Always be nice & friendly to other players.
- Do not abuse bugs / glitches.
- If someone is insulting you or another player try to solve the problem by talking. Do not Ban/Kick or retaliate.
(If someone insulted me I never kicked or banned them. I tried to solve the problem by talking.
Maybe because I can deal with it?)
- Use MVP to help stuck players.
- Ask them to stop spamming the chat, gltiching etc.
etc.

I never felt like "I want to play now, shut up." @Romkelolol

 

Some mods do act like that... i did not say that EVERY mod does that.

 

How is that supposed to work?

And those rules are the general guidelines for being a Moderator, they are not really related to making the job "easy" or "hard".

Someone bought me scav, jug, and stopping power......... and I didnt do anything...

 

I feel like you think that Admins are moderators. Moderators only Moderate chat in-game, forums and the teamspeak. Administrators do the job of an Owner, as you did.

 

I rarely see that on WarZ when a mod is on :/ People used to chat with moderators but not anymore apparently.
