Kneel and Laying Down Idea

Should a kneel/laying down mod be added to mc-war?

    Hey everyone!
    I haven't been on for a little while, so hello again, but enough of that.

    I think I have a great new (I don't know if i'm the first one, probably not...) idea for all the mc-war servers.
    I the real game, you can stand kneel, and lay down whenever wherever you want to. This would make sniping and ground combat a lot more fun and exiting for all players I think! I can see the idea that I would be very hard to make a mod like this for the server, but if it can be done, that would be awesome! I know there are a few down sides: 1. Not being able to see snipers as well 2. A lot of work put into the mod 3. Might be used too much

    If you mod's and admins could put this idea into consideration that would be great!

    This won't happen because everyone would be forced to download the mod in order to play. We'd lose a lot of potential players. No one wants to download a required mod for a server they might not even like.

    There is a mod that lets you go prone (idk about kneeling though) called Smart Movement or something. I tested it on the server and NoCheat+ blocks it.

    This likely won't work unless it's possible to make it into a plugin. Still, great idea! :smile:

    This was just a creative idea that I though might work. I'm not exactly thinking its gonna work, but it would be great if it could!

    From what I know about programming, thats technically impossible

    But it is an creative idea tough, +1 creative

    No, no one wants to download mods when they just are new to a server.
    Also, this would delay war v2 #soon
    The kneeling and laying down is impossible in minexraft without SmartMovement, but NoCheat+ blocks it. If it even is possible, people would be complaining about ISO users even more as they are harder to see and kill. Would kneeling and laying down make you 1 block tall?

    Maybe there is a way to just re-animate shifting, I don't think going prone would be that useful except if your trying to hide (which isn't a smart strategy).

    Again, this was just a creative idea that I thought might work.
    But, one way we could do with is make one mc-war server that will allow the mod and the rest won't. Could this happen?

    It won't with the way we settle things here. I'm sure that we don't simply have anyone who can make such a complicated mod. Plus I don't really think it's necesarry.
