Creative Competition: Wild West
The creative competition this month was to be built on the theme of the Wild West/1870s. There were many possibilities with this new theme, such as towns, train tracks and many other things. Thank you for all of your entries, and we will post the results of the contest later today. Read more...

Way2hot4Friday: Survival Maze Event
This month, the way2hot4friday event was on Survival PvP, with a maze event! This maze was custom built by @LegalSkateboards, @Scoat2,@gamemaster800 and proved the participants great difficulty. It took around 30 minutes for someone to successfully complete the maze, and the final winner was @RitzY. Read more...

Servers Updated to 1.8
After the release of Minecraft 1.8, we decided to update our McBrawl servers to 1.8, as well as convert the player data into UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) format. You can only connect to MinecraftParty, MC-War, MC-WarZ, PvP Survival, and Skywars by using 1.8, whereas our other servers such as Minestrike and Creative can be connected to using either 1.7.x or 1.8. New Name Ban Protocol
With the new name changing option available, we will not tolerate any newly changed names that contain vulgar, or inappropriate things. From the 20th of March, we will be banning people with these inappropriate names, until they are changed to something that is more friendly to a lot of our younger players on McBrawl. Read more...

New Warning System
Instead of getting a warning through public chat or private message from a staff member, you'll receive a warning through chat personally sent to you from our new warning system. When a player is issued with a warning, depending on the severity of the offence, or how many times they have repeated a certain offence, they will be punished accordingly. All warning points eventually will expire (similar to forums warning points), so always be on the lookout for any warnings that you may receive. Read more...

Report a Rule Breaker Improvements
Finally after a year with many rule breaker reports, we are moving away from the Google forms format, and moving into our very own system to report rule breakers. Now to report players on McBrawl, you have to be logged into your forums account, stopping potential impersonation, as well as the possibility to view all of your reports and their current status. We look forward to reviewing your reports in this new and very much improved system. Read more...

New Servers: UHC & SG
This month, McBrawl released two new classic gamemodes, UHC (Ultra Hard Core) and also SG (Survival Games)!

UHC is a gamemode where you will spawn into a fresh new vanilla world, with 3 other teammates, and try and be the last people standing, to win the game. The only way you can regenerate health in UHC, is by being able to eat golden apples, or, use potions to gain back health. A deathmatch will take place 30 minutes into the game, stopping it from running over for a very long time.

SG is just like SGG (Survival Games with Guns), however without guns. This classic gamemode has allowed us to add over 23 new maps to choose from, with our new voting system, where players can vote for the map that they want to play on. 30 seconds before the game starts, you will have the option to choose a kit, as well as buying additional items purchasable with coins, which you gain from killing other players, and winning matches.

FpsHG Revamped
FpsHG has been revamped into an almost completely new server, called SGG. With this new revamp, we have added a spectacular new amount of maps, similar to SG, as well as the new kit system that is also used in SG. Everyone now spawns in the same place, next to the cornucopia instead of falling from the sky into a random position. Also, spectators who have died in the game can sponsor players still alive with coins that you can gain. We have also changed the deathmatch arena to our old KitBrawl area, as well as removing food that automatically regenerates hearts and hunger. As always, we are open to suggestions that you may have to improve the server.

Lobby Scoreboard
In the lobby, you can now see how many players are on each of the McBrawl servers, and it will update live whenever someone joins a server as well as when someone leaves. As well as this, the overall number changes whenever someone joins, and when someone leaves an McBrawl server, then the overall number turns red.

Teamspeak Changes
Teamspeak took a minor update this month, with the addition of MVP & VIP temporary channels, as well as Support channels, where you should go to if you need 1 on 1 help from one of our staff members instead of PM’ing them. In the MVP & VIP temporary channels sub section, only members on our Teamspeak who either have Lifetime MVP or Lifetime VIP will be able to create channels here. If you have either of these ranks in-game, however not on Teamspeak, ask a staff member on our Teamspeak to give it to you.
