    Hello, it's MessageForHelp once again :V

    Before saying "omg it has been posted before, @Captain_Mark posted a thread of some kind", remember that I made very first original thread, and therefore, I own the rights to re-use this idea. I basically wanted to make a new thread, because, let's be honest here, that thread was kind of a joke. Also, Captain_Mark's idea is rather different, and I don't see a reason to lock it as a duplicate.

    Today, I'll be talking about a WarZ no-PvP or PvE server, and about how it will benefit our community.

    So, firstly, this server could be split up in 2 ways - 2 separate servers or a single server with 2 areas - new and old map. This can be easily sorted out, however, having a massive map would be more interesting.

    Now, before saying "PvP is a part of WarZ, and it can't be removed", bear in mind that there are 10 other servers you can play as an alternative to this. The reason, why we need such a server, is because it would not only be educational in terms of learning the map and basics, but it would be slightly more fair towards non-donator part of the community. The current WarZ is a lot easier to play as a donator, however, I think this server should disable any kind of donations, so, it would be slightly harder to master. You would start off with literally nothing. No items, no weapons and no armor. This means that you would have to scavenge everything and use your supplies strategically. The amount of chests would also be reduced by a slight bit to make the game more intense, along with that, the zombies would be buffed - there would be 3 types of zombies - runners, tanks and walkers. This would also improve the IQ of an average player by around 12 points, making up for a total of 80.

    Well, the reason behind multiple zombie types is because there has to be a slight variety, so that the gameplay wouldn't seem so repetitive

    Runners would have these attributes:
    1) Speed I effect for increased movement speed.
    2) Total of 200 health, making them strong, but possible to kill with a few precise shots.
    3) Default zombie damage. They are fast, but weak in combat, so, they would be more dangerous in groups.

    Walkers would have these attributes:
    1) Default movement speed for zombies. It is rather slow, making it possible to train these zombies around the area.
    2) In terms of damage, these zombies would deal a fairly simplistic set of it -
    A) 3.5 hearts of damage to leather, B) 2.5 hearts of damage to iron, C) 2 hearts of damage to diamond, note that this is from a full set.
    3) Total of 400 health would make this a fairly dangerous enemy, which, while difficult to kill, wouldn't be too much of a threat, because of the lack of speed.

    Tanks would have these attributes:
    1) Slowness I or II effect, which would
    make them rather slow, therefore, possible to train around.
    2) In terms of damage, it would do default/vanilla zombie damage, allowing for you to take fewer hits.
    3) In terms of health, this thing is bulky as heck, as it has the most HP (the name "tank", duh), as it has a total of 600 health points, making it extremely hard (but not impossible) to kill.

    Spawning algorithms for zombies:
    Zone 1-3:
    50% runners
    10% tanks
    40% walkers

    Zone 4-6:
    60% walkers
    10% tanks
    30% runners

    In terms of balancing, we could simply deal with a number of issues in these ways:
    A) Cut down the amount of chests by a half, making them rather scarce. Armor, ammunition and weapons would have to be managed with precision.

    B) Take away starting items. All of them. I understand, how blatantly stupid this sounds, but it would balance the game out by quite a bit - you would have to manage scarce resources you can find. Players with donator ranks could possibly earn a benefit in terms of starting items -
    VIP
    Leather tunic (dyed green)
    Wood sword
    5 canned beans
    2 bandages

    MVP
    Leather tunic and leggings (dyed blue)
    Stone Sword
    5 canned pasta
    2 canned Pepsi
    3 bandages

    C) Take away teleporting. This would balance the game out, as you would have to walk instead of just teleporting like in the PvP version. Also, the game would be slightly more fair towards non-donators. Before acting like a toddler, remember, that there would be 10 other servers that have not only PvP, but also teleportation. Yay.


    Well, these are literally the only changes you need in order to create a server that is not only more fair towards non-donators, but also slightly more appealing to casual players.

    NOTE:
    THIS THREAD IS WIP. It was written using Notes, so, it may have certain clipping mistakes.

    I support this so much. Finally zombies can be put to use instead of hoarding me and messing up my grapple attempts.

    I'm confused is this a server where players team up and fight zombies and that's it?

    I thought you meant you loot for stuff then that stuff will be transferred to the pvp server.

    Although the zombies would have to be hella buffed and people withink no stuff won't stand a chance but people with stuff will find it too easy.

    In the original post, I suggested zombie-side buffs.

    This server would be without PvP.

    I really like this idea, because of its difficulty, it seems the journey to the top is hard, however once you achieve good gear, the game should be really enjoyable I love this Idea and I would like to see this implemented. +1
