    Half the warz community can barely buy mvp every month, I doubt they'd be willing to donate to this.

    WarZ players complain about paying for MVP, much less being generous, and voluntarily donating to the staff. Which many of them dislike any way.

    This would end up being like those stupid charities that take 90% of the profits for themselves and donate the last 10%. :V Interesting concept though. :V
    90% = Chap's wallet
    10% = staff

    You actually blow my mind; this is an opportunity for you to be paid by donations from us.

    And you just said no to it? Oh.. kay?

    Ahm, I would first like to point out that there are no "WarZ mods" or any server specific mods anymore. It's all just Mod and Jmod, then the SMod and so forth. You would just kinda donate to the whole. Maybe be able to add a little message saying "Good job blah blah blah" so you could somewhat pin point.
    There are currently a total of 35? total Mods and Jmods. Not including Smods. Add 6 and there you have it.
    If the amount of money racks up to a total less than $35 (or $41), they are simply going to get a meager few cents.
    Many of the current staff members more than likely are too young to have a PayPal. That does not mean they do not own one. Also, it is voluntary. Volunteering means that you are freely offering to do a job. Chap has plenty reason to not pay them. Because it is voluntary. If they do not enjoy it, they can simply resign and leave.
    Of course, it is motivation, yes. But this is also huge huge huge motivation to get mod. And that would be the only reason possibly. Instead of people applying to be mod because they want to help the server, they would simply be applying due to the fact that you could get some money from it. Some things could happen where mods make little deals with people where that person donates some money to this and in exchange gets something from whoever the mod was.
    The thing is, hasn't Brawl been functioning perfectly without having to give a little tibit of money to the mods? It is a plenty fine idea, though you might not get much from it.

    TL;DR: Might be a problem getting all staff members to give PayPals. Will be a terrible feeling if you didn't have one or create one to get a part of the "Pizza Fund". Voluntary staff mods and that is why Chap doesn't pay them. It's voluntary, not because he's selfish. Can be good and bad motivation. Bad motivation meaning that people could just begin to apply for the donation only. Do bad favors for donations. You get the idea of that. Might not get a lot of money from it.

    I can almost gaurentre that most of Brawl's players could care less about the moderators. They would probably rather buy a rank for themselves, unfortunately.

    I think it's a great idea for the server to help donate the staff for doing a great job. But I think as Rainys said "Volunteering means that you are freely offering to do a job" If this idea were to ever work I think in applying for staff they should be a question that says;

    "Do you want to get paid for this job, by the Pizza Fund." Or something like that. That way you can choose that if you want to get paid or just volunteer. But in order to get paid you have to have some certain PayPal. Also I think you should be able to donate to who you want. Maybe it's all the Mods that you want to donate to. Now even though it's split up into;

    Owner

    Administrator

    Developer

    Senior Moderator

    Moderator

    Junior Moderator

    They still are basically staff for only specific servers. Correct me if I am wrong. I think the Admins are for all servers though. But when applying for staff you are basically supposed to apply for staff on one server. You don't say. "I am applying for all brawl servers for staff."

    We should also be able to put where our money goes. Like to the mods on the staff team. Or maybe to the build JMods. Because I don't really play on some games in Brawl. So I really want to donate my money to the people who help the games I play on.

    Correct me if any information is wrong or false.

    I don't really care that much about money. I had no intentions of being paid anyway :stuck_out_tongue:
    I'm not against it at all, I'm just pointing something out about the community. You stated that the money would be distributed between the staff of a specific server. I'm just sceptic of donations for WarZ, not against the idea.

    @TheBmanSwan too.

    Also, Robbie, as a former staff member, you should know how horribly this would turn out. Rainy and Impractical know how this would work, and Rainy brought up the most points. The pay would be little, and most are too young to have a PayPal, and I know for a fact that most parents wouldn't make/let their kids use a PayPal for this reason. I had to bypass a couple things just to get mine, and it wouldn't be worth it at all. Moderation is a voluntary position. It's been that way, and should stay that way, but if you get to Admin or something, getting paid shouldn't be an issue, I know Putty does, it's a ****load of work. Either way, I rambled, but simply, bad idea.

    Wouldn't be worth it unless they mail Chap cash and he distributes it that way.
    If someone donates 100$ dollars via most online transactions and then decides to chargeback, every single mod will have to give the money back to Chap(And thats assuming that they haven't already spent the money they received). It seems like a decent idea but just the fact that the donator could troll donate and cause not only an issue with paypal but waste time for every single staff member as well seems like a huge time sink with little benefit.

    That's why, through this, chap won't be paying them, exactly what he wants!

    We donate to them. :smile:

    Little is better than nothing. Additionally, wrong usage of wording. "Pay" no, it's donations from us.

    With the heavy disliking towards a system that only had sight for donating towards

    All based on assumption, it could prove otherwise in practice.

    Whoever does that deserves to be executed by Kim himself.

    The only way I can see this being viable is to have a way that players can donate (with no reward) to the volunteer staff. Otherwise, we cannot project our budget for the current and upcoming months if a random percent of all purchases are being split up. Our current profit isn't liberal enough to attempt a system like this or to even pay volunteers.

    Players are always free to show staff their appreciation by saying thanks, purchasing them a game, or whatever. We aren't restricting anyone from giving.

    Also, as you said, I doubt most of our staff have a fully functioning PayPal. Hell, D3RGPS31 and Nom just made a PayPal.
