    Im not used to the enchantment power and i put the sword in the table and even though I have levels, i cant enchant.

    You need to throw your lapis into the table and pick it up right when you enchant. It's kinda a hefty process

    You can just split the stack.

    Split the stack of lapis in half before you go into the enchantment table and use one of the two halves.
