    I replaced my compass png and movement files with a higher resolution one, 64/64 or 128/128 I don't remember which one.
    It makes sense to me that that would make it more accurate, does anyone know if that is actually the case?

    I did some google searches but couldn't find any discussion on it :/.

    Afaik the compas has a set amount of states so it only becomes visually more accurate...(you can see better where the compass is pointing to)

    The compass has about 16 states in its texture, meaning it will only look more accurate, but the movement will be just as choppy.
