Is enabling Hitboxes considered cheating in PvP? (If you're archering in CTF or shooting in Mc-war)

    I've only discovered the hitboxes thing today, so far it improved me on my archering in CTF because i can clearly see where my arrow is going, or whether any arrow is going to hit me.
    I received a comment that it is considered cheating.
    Please put your opinions below (with reasons) about whether it is considered cheating or not.
    Enabling hitbox (f3+b)

    No it is not, since its an option in Minecraft which can't be disabled by a server.

    It is not cheating in the means of Brawl rules, vanilla minecraft features are always allowed.

    Well, here's my next question for those who use archer a lot.
    Would hitboxes consider "cheap" and restricts me from becoming a better (and more accurate) archer?

    I wouldn't say that it restricts you. You still need to be good at aiming to be able to him the player. Most of the time, players are moving and you still need to have good aim.

    Alright, thanks, i guess ill leave hitboxes on, it helps me snipe ^_^ because i see where my arrow goes.

    Hacks such as trajectories makes people cheap. Hit boxes are completely fair.

    Not really, as you still have to aim up your shots properly and that takes skill. I wouldn't consider it against the rules as it can be done in vanilla minecraft without modifications.

    Hitboxes are just there for show, and mainly for developers. It also shows living entities, such as paintings, arrows, and such. This is just something for viewing, sure you can use it for your own advantage. But it's not really considered cheating, like others have said, it's just a part of vanilla Minecraft.
