    Today at the Armory Track Invitational at the New Balance Track & Field Center, history was made as Drew Hunter becomes the fastest high schooler of all time at the indoor 1-mile run. He ran a 3:58.25, breaking Alan Webb's record (3:59.86). He now joins Webb as the faster of the only 2 people who broke a 4-minute mile in high school.

    Drew is on his way to legend status, seeing as he became the first high schooler to break 8 minutes in the 3,000m just last week. “I always have a long-term approach,” Hunter said on Thursday. “I think, ‘Wow, I’m running low fours in the mile now,’ but eventually I want to run low 3:50s and stuff like that. I’m always saying let’s get better and see how fast I can run.”
