    Question: Are 1.8 texture pack compatible with 1.9? Once Bawl does merge with 1.9, can we still use 1.8 resource packs?

    Apparently 1.8 resource packs are by default incompatible with 1.9, I found a guide on how to fix this here. Note that your resource pack will still not have textures for the new blocks, so they will be default textures, and custom models might not work.
