Story Misty Mine

During the 1990's, there was large amounts of Gold, Platinum, & other sorts of valuable metals located in California, Santa Cruz under a mountain in a forest. The mine was abandoned months later due to undocumented casualties that arose among the town disappearance of miners.

April 20th, 2016.

A group of kids went missing in the mines and never came out. Bones were later found near the entrance, huge gash marks in the bones, indicating that this was pure brutal murder.
The death of the children were accused by a 'Serial Killer' within the town to the Public, official classified documents show the children were brutally murdered by the creature(s) that lie within the mine.

May 1st, 2016.

The entrance to the mine was closed off. Warning sizes showed Death's figure, 'Go no further, nothing in here is wort-', the letters cut off as part of the sign is town off.

May 3rd, 2016.

A group of gunners and scientists went inside, constantly providing protection among the group, as they venture deeper, mist started appearing more frequently. The team decided to back off and return to headquarters.

June 4th, 2016. Operation Misty Mine

Today is the day that a group finds and kills this mysterious creature or creatures behind these murders. A group of ten, they signed their wills in-case of something happening. Outside the mine, calm relaxing chills, the old sign, 'Misty Mine' signed in the wood. Four stay outside and the rest go inside. They end up firing a bullet round as a test into the cave and hear a echo from inside. They make hand movements since they don't want to increase their presence. The creature that is assumed is sound dependent from lab results.

Five minutes in, 1:35 PM
They see the mist and tracks leading deeper, they find an Iridium deposit and a Platinum deposit. The censors of one of the readers indicates the atmosphere is safe to go further in with breathable atmosphere. One of the people find a pickaxe with names carved inside of the wood.
One sighs as they knew a few of the brave miners down here. Bones began appearing around.
Some dripping was heard in the back, it fell onto one of the members. "It's right behind me ins't it..." He turns and smacks his face into a pillar rock. They laughed and shrugged it off.
The mist becomes less breathable, becoming more dense.

Twenty minutes in, 1:55 PM
A creature swiftly attempts to cut down one of the members, it ends up making a huge gash in the upper right arm of a female, they shoot at the creature and manage to presumably kill one of them. Minutes later, blood loss is beginning to become an issue, she's feeling weak and unable to properly hold a weapon. She ends up being corned by one but brutally murders it, the adrenaline rush keeps her in-tact for some time. Her wound is patched but the loss of blood weakens her will & strength. Most of the group was having trouble breathing, they lost most of their strength to fight on, more wounds, more blood loss occurred. Death is eminent.

Thirty-five minutes in, 2:30 PM
A long grueling battle between the creatures, three have already fallen, the female got out of the mine safely and returned to the other four. One left, all he had was fire power, will, and the ability to go forth deeper. He finds plants and other sorts of animals living down here, an incredibly large structure of open space of plants and life. He pulls out his speaker and tells the team his final words.
"It's beautiful down here... Life existing down in these misty caves, somehow surviving.. *heavy breathing* Her- He.. I-I'm losing myself, it's all beautiful. Tell them the truth about the mine, let my death be, explosive". He takes his life, surely the creatures had a feast upon him and the others.

June 10th, 2016.

A large sum of TNT was blown inside the mine to not allow more casualties to happen. Official Documentation of the creatures and casualties from the history were posted online by the Government.

October 21st, 2016.

Approximately at 9:00, cold wind chills gusted among the entire town. People in cloaks appeared. "Arise my children that once were trapped.. You shall no longer be forgotten."
A large explosion was heard, Government officials appeared to the sign of a group of cultists brutally murdered outside the cavern. The cultist leader was breathing but dying. "I only saved my children.. They shall arise once more to this beautiful world you encased them in!"​
