    There has been people saying how build and creative was going together. So here are my thoughts on it.
    --------------------------
    1. I doubt that they are going together because there was no updates on it and staff can get lazy.
    2. I don't like the idea of having to make a full application to just use world edit (That's one of the reasons I switched to build).
    3. It would be cool to have a plot and a world at the same time.
    4. Same thing with me having creative with a full blown world. But the thing is... the worlds are almost like a trick. You still have (almost) the same space as a plot.

    I agree, Build and Creative would probably never go together because they just are too different to become the same. Although, Some things on Build make it act like Creative, But their are more differences than similarities.

    The plan I've heard is to move all the builds in Creative to Build somehow. I don't know the details.

    I think that Build and Creative are way too different to have a merge. They are 2 totally different concepts, that would not really work together.

    There was no planned merge last I checked because most of the Creative players moved to MC Build so they weren't required to apply to get a creative rank to have access to World Edit.

    Nowadays, players on Creative cannot have a fully use of what Minecraft updates give to its players in order to expand their creativity as this server is still in 1.7, unlike of course MinecraftBuild. Therefore before any changes concerning these both servers, Creative needs to have some updates.

    I don't think these two servers should be merged together, they are both way different from each other in terms of their respective communities and aspects.

    There have been many threads about this subject but nothing tangible has been made since then. Moreover, as other people said above, a lot of players who were used to playing on Creative moved to Build simply because this latter is in a way more advanced. Plus they didn't have to post an application in order to be able to use WorldEdit. However since it's a fundamental requirement for the BuildTeam, they decided to improve their skills in this field with an eye to perhaps get accepted to the Build Team, and there was only one server where they could do so, namely Build.

    The thing is not a merge, is a replacement imo. Build, in almost all things, is better than Creative. The things that make Create different to Build is the 'community' sensation that gives becos plots. Also, sometimes plots are a problem because players that stop building or just put one block there. That's just imo, I can understand you would like the sensation of Creative and miss the old creative days, but they won't come back.
