    Im not a fan of pokemon at all, neither of pixelmon. (I dont understand why Dwarfiest plays it, as many others)
    Also I dont like servers for minecraft client side mods, because they are always late updated, sometimes laggy and sometimes hard to install.
    I think McBrawl should stay with original Minecraft Server, sorry Darkchaosknight.

    Well, there are multiple problems. First like Roke said, mods don't update along with the server giving us an already bigger delay. Second, we can't take community suggestions because the mod isn't ours(unless it's free to change.) Lastly, McBawl has always been "Hey look, we can re create these awesome games ourselves in vanilla just by coding giving it a unique feel. A modded server will ruin this in my opinion.

    What you said is true on some parts. It is true it will take a longer time for updates however it doesn't mean suggestions don't work. Remember, if we were to take the mod, it would be for the initial items and pixelmon :V. This means we can make plugins etc. to make it better meaning your wrong on that. Also we won't be "laggy" unless we find ways to make it laggy. Remember that for this server, players can't place thing or make lag easily. Also there aren't any effects or fighting things in the game to have particle lag etc. The big point you bring is will it be good to have a modded server? I am not sure however we must try it before we say no.

    Although it does not affect me, you would be surprised with the amount of players who have not a clue how to download mods at all. Yesterday I had to show someone who had minecraft for 2 years how to install a simple texture pack. It was pretty painful. Once I was helping a player install optifine and it was so simple yet he was still confused.
    Considering the amount of 6-9 year old players on Mcbrawl, we can't have modded servers.
    Take for example, when the servers weren't updated to 1.7 they were deserted. More than 50% of players couldn't even figure out how to switch MC versions. Which is just sad...
