Bug Sheriff HQ glitch

There is actually a few things you can do to fix it.
1. alt + f4 or otherwise get out of fullscreen and exit the window. Rejoining the server, hq-ing, and selecting the town again fixes it.
2. (If you have a sensitive mouse like I do.) Move your mouse very quickly and click the towns repeatedly. Eventually you get tp-ed to one. This is hard to pull off and takes a bit, but it's faster than exiting and rejoining. :v

 

This glitch is not specific to sheriffs, it is a glitch that can occur to anyone that simply needs to respawn, and choose a new town to spawn in.
Luckily for me I have a touchscreen computer, so whenever the glitch happens to me I can just tap my finger on the town I want to go to

 

yeah, it really annoys me when i press my window button on my keyboard, (i have a laptop) it lets me close my minecraft. However sometimes when I log in it stilll does it, so I wait I couple of seconds / minutes or until reboot

 

I mean, I've used both of those techniques to escape the same glitch that you are talking about. You actually can move your mouse a little bit before it teleports it back to the center of the screen and I don't see how you wouldn't be able to close the window...

 

Sometimes I need to open and close Minecraft before it works.

 

When I was a sheriff, I opened the windows menu then clicked the town while the menu was my default window. Ez fix
