fpsHG & MineStrike

I know minestrike was taken down because it simply didn't have the player base to support itself. However, I do not know why fpsHG was taken down. I fee like it would make a pretty solid comeback if re-implemented. I think it would be a fairly easy game to play for newcomers, and it is different from most of our servers in the fact that it is not necessarily cumulative, the game resets each round.

 

I personally loved fpsHG, but idk why it was taken down. I loved the classes you can start with. I personally found it very enjoyable.

 

FpsHG is most definitely returning as H1Z1: KOTK.

It was playable months ago. I bet it will come out this year.

 

Indeed, there will be a new server coming but still without any estimated time of arrival. This game, as aforementioned posts say it, is based upon the famous game called H1Z1. I haven't been lucky to test it yet even as staff because there are not enough players to start a game, but I can tell you that this server has features which you're able to find in the original game such as gaz, cars, guns and so on.

Talking now about Minestrike, I do not think that it will be added back any time soon since it lacked of players and cost money for nothing (you couldn't buy items with real money either). Still it was funny but the source code is still somewhere, therefore, if lots of players want it back, it won't be difficult to please these latter.

 

If so that would be pretty cool, hopefully a time table is released soon.

I feel like the situation with minestrike is similar to the build contests. They become unpopular because they are offered continuously, maybe if there were set times where minestrike was available to play, it would increase its activity? Like minestrike mondays or something similar.
