    I'm not a fan of having to click at 15cps, but Mojang should've limited it to 6cps or something rather than 1cps...

    1.6 cps, to be exact; basically 2, although it is 1 cps for axes. I still don't see what's so adverse about having to swing rhythmically instead of as fast as possible...

    I like pre-1.9 PvP because 1.I've been playing that way since the start (small variations along the way) and 2.it's a challenge. It's less 2yr old friendly, I know, but many of us who originally picked up and stayed with the game probably wouldn't still be here if the style of combat or the game itself dramatically changed to become something entirely different, especially if it was one like 1.9+. :l

    So to stay on topic, I'm glad we decided to stick with this PvP version and not the other way around xd

    @Jul13n 90% of Minecraft pvp is movement - none of that changed in 1.9, so I've never understood the "dramatically different" argument. 1.9+ is just as much a challenge as 1.8. I've also played the old pvp since I joined (in 2012), but I still like 1.9+ better, so I can't see that argument either.

    @tallscot I mean, how much experience do you really have with it? From the testimonial of 3 Badlion players at least, OP duels in 1.9+ are actually shorter... Anyways, the slightly slower hit speed in 1.9+ is made up for with weaker armor in general. (the hit speed in 1.8 is effectively 2 cps because of damage immunity)

    And that's the amount of times you can hit someone, not the amount of times you can click. 1.9 does not take much skill other than aim.

    Tried out the change on Kit Brawl earlier today and really enjoyed it. Great work @Mario.

    *2cps - the vanilla damage immunity has been .5 seconds for as long as the wiki changelog can remember. Now, Protection and Sharpness used to be variable amounts (I think 1.8 made sharpness constant, and 1.9 reduced both and made them constant). Anyways, because they were variable and crits were basically accidental in 1.7, often times you could override the damage immunity to get slightly extra damage (doing more damage than the initial hit replaces the original damage, but not the kb).

    Anyways, 1.9 still takes the same skills as 1.8 did - you just have to click rhythmically instead of as fast as you can, and you have new items and tactics to use (crit-chains, for example). w-tapping, s-tapping, strafes, spacing, etc are all still in 1.9.

    I have 14 CPS :wink:

    If you'd have 14 CPS with 6CPS hit registration, Minecraft will be broken af, that would be so unfair XD
    Blockhitting and strafing is the key to success on brawl mates :wink:
    Thanks for the hit registration update guys. Been testing it on CTF and I absolutely Love it!
