    I do not know, but is it just me or is the experience gain on the PvP servers lowered more then a single-player or vanilla minecraft? I feel like I have to waste a lot of the durability on a diamond sword to get to level 30 using a mob grinder. I do not know, I may be going crazy. If this is so, could a different way be added to boost the experience gain?

    Use stone swords, and add some sort of damaging mechanism.

    I have used a stone sword, but it uses up a whole stone sword for 30 levels. Not complaining about stone sword because they are way too easy to get, just I do not remember 30 levels taking up a whole stone sword...

    Use a damaging mechanism. On my custom one, it sets the mobs on fire so it takes 1-2 punches to kill them.

    If you do the mob spawner well then you can just punch the zombies and they'll die
