3-D gun models.

There are HD gun resource packs already, the guns in them look sick and real :V

Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

This is a great idea, honestly. I've already asked a mod maker to begin making some, and he may or may not be making a mod that adds models to the guns. Because, as you know, models for guns are better than simple HD textures.

Don't request a lock unless it is your thread or unless it is absolutely pointless :V

It is not possible without a client side mod, but this could work for people who want to make a mod for this.

 

ForgeModloader isn't out for 1.7 yet. You could install the mods manually, but not many people have the patience for that, and plus, there's a high chance your game will break.

 

Yeah, there are already HD texture packs for MC-War. I agree though. It makes it look a lot cooler.

 

There is actually a version out, but I haven't bothered to try it. Also, there are a few 1.7 mods out, and they're technically incomplete, but they work. We'll have to wait for MCP to update... :L

 

MCPatcher has come out for 1.7, so has Forge and Optifine.

 

Forge is out, but this version doesn't include FML, which is essential in the use of mods.
Optifine is out because they have their own decompiler.
The rest of the mods need to wait for MCP to be released for 1.7, which will take a while.
And MCPatcher is worthless, who uses that?

It is possible, just hard. We may as well wait for FML.

 

And FML is waiting for MCP.

He's talking about 3 dimensional gun models, not high definition gun textures.
