Ray-gun should be dissallowed in TDM and CTF

no, sorry, but no. The ray gun is getting nerfed in mc-war 2.0 due to popular demand
I do commend you on coming out and giving a gun you nuke with frequently a chance of being taken down though

 

You have to understand that people payed real money for that gun. To take it away for CTF and TDM would be almost like scamming them, and many people would be upset. Sure, it may seem unfair to you, but that is the advantage of donating. Just because it is a good weapon, doesn't mean it should be removed. Sorry, I just don't see it happening.

 

Yeah, the ray is pretty OP, it's basically a sniper with splash damage, so tracking your target is waaaay easier. Plus, it can instakill. But removing it altogether is not going to help.

 

The ray is overpowered, since it is a law combined with iso. Like signatured said, people payed money to the server in order to get that gun. It'd be better to just nerf it than to remove it overall. But, these people also are kind of paying to get more kills in an easier way. I don't have the paypal or credit card to donate with, so it is kind of unfair since I'm not the only person without money to get perks and guns.

-FFA
Reducing the ability to use the ray in half is just not reasonable.

As much as I hate level 10's running around with Ray gun in every gamemode, people would be pissed if it was removed. The only way to make this possible is if they change the buycraft description for future purchases of the ray gun so it says what game mode it is allowed in. Otherwise, it would be a total scam.
Though I do think it would be nice to disable it in ffa. Any gun is better in ffa anyway and it will prevent getting your ffa ks lost to a noob spamming the floor in front of you with Ray because they suck too much to aim at your body. ._.

 

Ray gun would be pointless to pay for if this happens. Lots of people would stop donating.

 

Well, imagine we did remove the Raygun in certain gamemodes.

• Nobody would buy it.
• Players would be completely angry.
• More rage threads to deal with.

Overall, this would cause a large downfall to the community. So, no.

 

The raygun is a donor gun. You have to pay real money to get it. To take it away in TDM/CTF would be both foolish and unfair.

 

And also that would lead to no funds to pay for the servers.
Taking out ray in certain gamemodes is not fair like that. It would be kinda-of pointless to buy the ray then.

 

There is no point in buying a gun you can't use. A lot of people like the satisfaction of their raygun's laser striking their target, and I'm sure there would be even more angered people than satisfied people if this change was added. Also, the raygun isn't too bad. Raygun users are quite easy to take out, since all you need to do is quickly kill them before they fire their gun at you.

 

The only game I think it could be adjusted is infect.

Way to get 20+ kdr as a newbie:
1. Buy ray gun and scav
2. Only play infects
3. Zap the ground in front of zombies all day

 

Just ignore them. It's what I usually do.

Anyways, guns are meant to be used in all game modes. This is pointless.

 

There are many guns far better than ray gun for TDM and CTF. So deal with it.

Im not really that good with raygun in ffa and tdm, I cant get the aim right, its kinda inaccurate and most people do donate for a raygun.

 

I thought the whole point of the raygun was to troll people in ctf/tdm.... At least thats why i bought it
