    How about...
    Twilight? Hunger Games? LOL
I've never read them, but I hate them anyways.

Don't read Flowers for Algernon. School hated it. The Pigman is pretty good. Harry Potter, of course.
To Kill A Mockingbird is good as well. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, as well as the Tom Sawyer one. Both are good. Julie of the Wolves sounds good. Should go and read that myself. The Giver is really iffy.

OH GOD NOT THAT BOOK. I had to read that book for my school, so awkward. I mean it was good, but ehh.
Anyway, I would recommend adventures of Tom Sawyer, Too Kill a MockingBird (if you have not read it), Lord of the Flies, the Outsiders (I really like this one), Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, and that is about all I ca really remember. My English class just finished reading the short story The Pearl, and before that we read Shane.
