at least youre not trying to be a pretentious moderator going like "zomg they arent op, the admins know what they're doing etc..etc....

and i completely agree with you saying zombie are much more dangerous than players now, because at least if you run into a 4 man diamond team or something, theyre easy kills with a spas and ak or spas and barret.
However, if you run into a zombie mob, its kinda hard to kill a single zombie with a barret while 20 others are raping you in a corner.

 

Look, let me just say this. First of all, please do not turn this into a flame war or spam caps. The moderators do the best they can to catch hackers and on the issue of the zombies, this is a zombie survival server. Surviving zombies is WarZ's raison d'etre (reason for existence). If you just want gun PvP with other players, try War, it is also a great server.

If you want to try and stay alive in the nether, just stay in buildings and loot chests and if you do need to go outside for some reason, run across the ground with a bone in your hand. If a zombie hits you and you break your leg, just spam your bone and keep running.

Any pistol will one-shot zombies in the head, I believe, so if you have 64 ammo you can just spam your pistol at them.

I hope this has cleared things up, and if it hasn't, I don't want this to be a flame war.

 

Well, my bad for useing caps, I felt it was some what neccessary to emphasize my point. Anyway, what you said is true enough but I wouldn't say that "surviving zombies is the sole reason for the servers existance... Definetly not. There is also pvping other players invovled etc...and also i notice how you say "if a zombie hits you and you break your leg, just spam your bone and keep running.."

Well, considering the fact that zombies break your bones every 2 hits or so, how many bones do you have? and its not so easy to "keep" running when you're getting hit left and right, getting hit against a wall, or getting hit back into the zombie mob..When you're getting hit by anywhere from 5 zombies or so, ITS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OUTRUN THEM EVEN WITH SUGAR. You act as if you know of everything you're saying but I doubt you acutally walked into the nether and have had this happen to you.. If you did you would definetly be of different oppinion.

Also not any pistol will one shot zombies in the head, and "if you have 64 amoo you can just spam your pistol" Well sir, 64/16 gives you 4. I'm not about to spend 5 freaking inventory slots to carry around some relatively useless pistol amo.

I was merely suggesting ways you can survive the zombies. Sure, pvping is a big part of WarZ, but the Z in the name isn't there for nothing. It may be a while before the administrators nerf the zombies, if they ever do, so in the meantime I suggest you heed my advice, or not, it's up to you. But I've put it there for your benefit.

To Green: I agree, I am just trying to help this player survive zombies by offering tips.

I went on WarZ to see how OP the zombies were.
I tp'd to a friend.
I got raped by 15 zombies.
They gave me 5 infects, 7 broken bones, and 9 bleeding.
I broke my computer in rage.

Majora, not everyone has ammo to fend off zombies.

 

I play a lot on the servers, unfortunately I have an actual life and do have to go to school. Warz is lacking mods and we are working on it but we are working hard to make this server enjoyable and I thought we were doing a pretty good job.

 

The community should pitch in on making WarZ hacker reports. As a moderator, it's not our job to ban everything single person who's hacking (It's not possible). We also only have five WarZ moderators and ten WarZ servers.

 

I agree with the fact that zombies are op but please do not attack the staff, it is not your place to do that especially to just post it on the forums publicly. If you have a problem with some of the staff contact an Administrator when one is online.

 

Mods do there best they can't do everything there just one person it's really hard to play and to help others

 

We keep track of our mods on the servers. We log time online, and their hacker reports.

While I agree that warz doesn't have enough staff, the ones currently on there do a great job. However, If you don't like the amount of staff online, why don't you apply?

That being said, I will look into the zombies tomorrow. During the past update, no code changes (on my end) have been made to them.

He actually plays WarZ a fair amount, I've seen him on a few times. I do not wish to get into a flame war, so I will just post what I know to try and help you out:

If you know the nether well, you can climb ladders and get behind doors. If you have a whole horde of zombies behind you, they will never catch you if you're constantly sprinting and there are several bottlenecks where you can lead then, trap them and kill them. If you're tactically smart, you can lead them away from where you want to go with well-placed flares or perhaps a distracting teammate. I've roamed the nether for a while with full iron and they are a not a big problem for me.

First of all, Stop complaining about the zombies, they're not that bad.
Second of all, the mods are not aloud to ban players, if they see a player hacking, even the mods have to report the player. So don't blame the mods for not "helping".
Lastly, mods are busy bees, with the new server out, they can't spend all their time on WarZ.
Stop complaining, if you don't like the way the server is, find another. I bet you won't. C; Have a nice day.
