    Some of my friends and I had the interesting idea of and Assist bonus of 5 XP. this happens like in CoD when you shoot someone but do not kill them, and someone else kills them. you get points for "assisting" them in killing their foes. I am not sure how this would be coded, but the assist message might go something like: (name of enemy) was killed by (name of killer) +5 XP for assist.
    I am sorry it's short.

    wait, if you sprayed into the enemy spawn and someone eventually killed the person you hit while spraying, that would still give u 5 xp correct? seems a bit unfair.

    In TF2, a player will receive an assist bonus if they dealt the majority of the damage receive by a player, but someone else finished that player off. Maybe we could do something similar here. However recording who has dealt the most damage to a player will consume resources that could be better used elsewhere.

    I already gave the perfect way.
    Give assist XP based on % of damage dealt.

    I would love this to happen as a lot of the time I get a bullet on then someone else kills him.

    the idea i suggested is used in planetside 2. if say 3 people shoot someone with weak pistols, and 1 of them manages to kill him, he gets the regular enemy killed stats, and the other 2 people get assist bonuses. maybe it should be the last person to hit the enemy before someone else kills him gets the 5 xp.
    will this be added to the game soon? im tired of shooting somone till they are at 1 heart, and someone else stealing the kill. i want to at least get something for my efforts

    If the player did more than 66% of damage then give a assist bonus.
