Arkaden to be more common

Maps are randomly selected and as much as I like arkaden its an older map and they don't get as many plays

Arkaden = my second favorite map of all time my favorite is the hood tdm sadly removed.

 

I really enjoy playing on Arkaden as I can rack up a ton of kills
Maps are randomly selected and I don't think you'll manage to get this to happen unless a lot of people want this to happen.
I would really love this to happen though.

 

Some maps cough cough domewaw and dome are always the 1v1 maps.

 

What about creating more maps like Arkaden? I'm sure you could ask Orange to give you the map makers name, but its probably already somewhere on the site. Maybe you could convince the map maker to make some new ones based on the same principles!

But there is another possibility. I'm aware that the random map selection code is kinda lame, repeats are pretty common with the current structure. You might want to look into supporting the creation of a new random generator! Currently, a map or game-mode that has just been run, can be chosen for the next game. If you eliminated maps/gamemodes that had already been run, you would make sure that all maps and game-modes are played an equal amount, just in a random order!

 

Mainly N11ck makes maps. Also, the old maps are generally for smaller groups of people because the server was smaller back then.

 

TheHood got removed? Better not have, or I'm complaining.

Arkaden should definitely be more popular, it really isn't that small, should play up to at least 60 people

 

TheHood TDM never existed when I played. Of course, I did miss oil rig... Or whatever its name is.

 

Oh, I just realized he said TheHood tdm, not infect. I read only the Hood part and I was just like "WHAT!?"

TheHood tdm did exist when I first started, as well as a handful of maps that don't play anymore, such as ship, oilfactory, dustbowl tdms and ctfs, and some ctf map that I can't remember the name of, its the first map in this video:

Well we could consider petitioning for the addition of maps not pre-exisitng in cod or other games. That would really open up the servers and allow the addition of more creative maps. We would need to try to keep a theme though, no candy, mushroom, or tnt maps thats for sure.

 

YESH PLZ, Arkaden is my most favorite cod map of ALL TIME and I would really like it if arkaden was played more often

 

Arkaden has too many OP infect spots, so arkaden_infect is a big "no no".
