Automatically deleting a clan with no members.

If the clan has no member in it then you can re-create it. I tried this and it worked for me, if it doesn't then I don't know whats happening. But for all I know you are able to name your clan to the name of a clan that has no members in it.

 

I have tested it on War. You cannot buy a clan name if it exists at all, even if that old clan has no members. This would be extremely useful. Here's an add on to your idea.
If any member of a clan doesn't log in for a long time (3 months), the clan will automatically be deleted. So let's say we had a clan called MOD. Putty, pnspi, and Yin are in it. Putty gets promoted to admin, so he leaves the clan. Soon after, Yin promotes himself to admin (hax :v), so he leaves. Pnspi goes inactive for 3 months and 2 days. Because he is the on,y member in the clan, and since no one in the clan has logged on for 3 months, the clan is deleted. That way, if pnspi doesn't want to play anymore, but forgets about the MOD clan, someone else can take it after 3 months. Of course, you can't make the MOD clan, but it is just an example.
TL;DR - If a clan is inactive for 3 months (none of its members log on for 3 months), it will be auto deleted.

EDIT: This would also be a good idea, because deleting clans saves memory. This enables the server to run a little faster, although it already runs extremely fast.

 

Oh, that's the reason why a clan sometimes says null. Yes, I do agree a clan should be deleted once there are no more members left.

But what if the owner of the clan gets injured, or his computer is lost before anybody joined the clan. Then the 1000 credits spend on the clan would be wasted. Example, let's say I bought a clan today called... BRNY. But then my PC's cooling fan shuts down and I can no longer operate the PC because of overheating. Then when I buy a new computer maybe... 5 months later, my clan is gone.
Maybe something else could be done but not that.

(Btw my PC's cooling fan really shut down and my clan was left inactive for about 3 and a half months :O)

 

That would definitely suck for the owner. But you have to think about the other people who want the clan name. The time could be extended, but having a broken computer isn't much of an excuse to hog a clan name, especially if the clan is inactive.

 

This would be very useful, I really hope that they can fix this kind of bug

 

They should also kick inactive mods or kick anyone it's the clan even tho they're not on

 

This idea should be implemented 100% it might be unfortunate for the owner or the players to be "accidentally" inactive for 3 months, but if a clan reaches 0 members, it should be an auto delete within like the first 5 seconds of it being a dead clan. They should also auto-kick any players inactive for more than 1-3 months (since if you're on vacation you should atleast be back within one month). The idea would get rid of many clans; god hope it comes in the update which comes #later.

How about if the owner's clan is deleted, they get 2000 credits back? That way they can just make their clan all over again? No worries!
