    I must say though, what if there is a beginner who's played once and managed to get a 50-0 game with RayGun or something and never plays again, then he will always be at the top.

    Then he is still a very skilled player for being able to do so, RayGun or not.

    I have to say, everybody wants kdr but that is not the way to go in my opinion. A noob at level 2 or 1 could go one game with a 9.0 kdr getting 9-0. This also goes for advanced players. They could have an alt and use him for a couple rounds and have the best kdr. I agree with @tdaddy14

    You guys are forgetting something.
    Now there are about 30 or more players who have over 100.000 kills. None of those players are bad. And I know plenty of people who are insanely ****ing good, but their KDR isn't the best. There will never be a true way of showing who is really the best. I think they should keep it at kills for the highest rank since it shows how committed you really are.
    This isn't biased because I have the most kills, I really think this.

    Propably KDR is the most balanced way to show off skills, but if a good player resets his stats but keeps all donor weapons he will easily get like 20.0 kdr if he only plys infect and stuff :L
    Im for something complicated, maybe the kdr of a player multiplied with his kills.

    Add: meltingangel was never number 1, that was first pistolparrot, than mafiaferret and now joeymast99. @SuperBen4

    Either way I wouldn't make it into the list. only have 74000 kills so I might just make top 64, however I don't think the list would go to 64. I also have only 3,6 kdr so again wouldn't be close to the top.
    I remember melting was there somewhere, but yeah now I remember pistol was 1, remember pistolparrot's lounge?
    I think Kills multiplied by KDR would be pretty good, because you get a multiplier for your KDR but it still respects your commitment with number of Kills. If this was the case, mine would be 273,600 which I think would be not too bad, but still not as high as most 100,000 kills and up ppl.

    but there could be someone camping around a corner and killing whoever comes into a room, they could go 6-0
    you could be a rusher and get 23-7
    maybe mix kdr and kills? :L

    I think kdr x kills is the best way. Respects skills and play time.

    A new player have beginners luck: The first round he plays he get 10-0. He just got a 10KDR.
