How to hide your IP from skype resolvers.

This is here for a reason, the community on WarZ just love to ddos. I am making this tutorial to help everyone, as getting ddosd is just very annoying. P.S. no download is needed.

It's the most simple thing you will see, it tricks the resolver into thinking your ip is 127.0.0.1 , where as your ip has not changed at all, in fact.

Basically all you need to do is go to Your 'Tools' On the skype toolbar at the top [ http://gyazo.com/cc983af0f028ebb19c1e15d77eaa28de ]

Then go to the 'Options' which is at the bottom of the 'Tools' Bar.

Now in this options menu, click 'Advanced' Like I did in this Picture: http://gyazo.com/3b174005012b226881a19291c719c251

Now, find your self to 'Connection' and fill it out exactly like this [ http://gyazo.com/6ad863ef078903283bd569f03b8f7c56 ]

Host: 127.0.0.1
Port: 40031
Use Port 80 & 443 = Tick
Enable UPNP & Allow direct connections... = Tick.

A lot of people betray you, and once betrayed your skype goes to one person, and it's like a plague.. they give it to everyone, ddosing is a problem to a lot of people on this server, and I posted this in aid to help those who do suffer DDOS attacks.

You're welcome. Glad I helped you. Players also obtain skype names using the 'search' option and search your player name, usually people can get your skype this way, so I'd reccomend making it something else, mine is just 'Monkeh' and lot's of people are sure to use a name like this, so the search will be full and they will not bother searching through it all. .

You never know though, you could be playing warz and team with someone on random, who is friends with a ddoser, and then you kill them and they will get mad, and you will be ddosd. it's all it takes.. Only posting this to help people, again.

This method hides your IP from all resolvers on the internet, for a fact I and many friends have tried this ( a skype restart is required ) and have all given me positive feedback on the method. : )
