Hi guys. So this week, I have been really sad and stressed. My mother got pregnant a while ago, and when the baby was born this week.........he died :frowning:. I have been so sad that I could not do any homework or go on the forums or anything. Does anyone know a way to get rid of stress and what I am going through?
    Thanks :frowning:

Well that's a sad thing to hear jolly. But how I get rid of stress is that I just relax and think, about peaceful places
like The Aether, or a rain forest or listen to ambient music like crickets or bongos.

Welcome to the club my friend.
Quite a few people are... critical of threads like this, it really doesn't belong on these forums, none the less i'll just go ahead and try to help.

I can reason that you're depressed, which happens to all of us, some of us more and worse than others, I myself am a victim.
My advice is to not isolate yourself, and not surround yourself with sadness, don't go to those sad depressing songs, even though you may want to listen to them, that's just depression talking.
I find this song to help me quite a bit.

This process of depression doesn't go away overnight however, it will take time, and effort, just don't give up, each day you fight it it get's easier and you'll find yourself getting back to normal.
I've been dealing with it for about seven months, and it does get better, just avoid sadness, sadness will set you back, and do not get into drugs, alchohal, or cutting, those all in the long run worsen it.

Listen to music, talk to a friend, try to tell yourself that everything will be OK, eat good food, relax and breathe easily, drink lots of tea, laugh it off, exercise, and also sex, but I don't that last one is really an option.

Losing a family member can be hard, if you need anyone, you can let me know if you want.

Well, sometimes stuff happens in life that we can't do anything about. It's a pretty big cycle. Nothing stays. I'm sorry about what happened. Dear, losing one is hard. It is. But look around you. Look at what you have and others don't. Take a positive look at what you have in your life. Do not dwell on the child passing away. Seek real life advice as well. Someone to hug and comfort you is the best way to mend.
    I'm sorry of your loss.

If something is ever beating you down, or if you are under a bunch of stress, one of the best things I can recommend is to do something nice for a person. At the end of the day, think about what you did to make other people happy as your final thought. It gets a lot off your head.
Being selfless and helping other people is one of the most soothing things a person can do.

I won't be on the forums or ingame very much at all this month. I have a lot of catching up to do in school. I might have to consider leaving mcbrawl

Sometimes life is hard, and things happen. I know what you are feeling. Try to clear your thoughts. Think of the nice things that have happened through it, and maybe listen some nice, calming music. Go to sleep, and hopefully when you wake, you will feel at least a little better. I hope you get better, and possibly come back to McBrawl again.

Carry on, Ikr, I have been trough jizz like this, it is unfortunate for that to happen, but be calm and relax. Do not consider suiciding, it is not an option. Talk to jelly.

You and I have a lot in common.
My only brother was a stillborn. My only nephew was a stillborn.
Try all of the things above. Remember, we're here for you.

    What he said.
Also, incase this ever comes to mind, suicide is not the answer.
I have already attempted it and lived to see a few more years.
    Funny thing is...
    I would of had 5 brothers/ sister....

My first name would of been Felix because I was the only boy who survived in my family.
But, my grandma named me Daniel.

Hey, we've probably never met before but this is a truly sad story. Having your brother died prematurely is worse than an old age death, I've had 2 uncles died like that, never to be born. I've recently experienced death, my beloved kitty of 6 years died while I hold him in his arms, he had a heart attack and lost control of his muscles.

Death is something we all face, we all have to go through it, but not our spirits. One thing you have to keep in mind is, its OK to grief. Don't try to hold in your feelings, release them. You should also talk with your mom, grief this together, it will help since she is the closest person that has faced this with you. Write notes to him, to his spirit. A body is just a place for a spirit to be, he never died. Write notes about your feelings, how much you love him, because eventually you will get to meet him in the most beautiful place in the universe. Write the things you want to say to him when you meet, the fun you are going to have that will never end. Grieving isn't something that will stop tomorrow, it takes days, weeks, months and even decades. I am no expert, but going to a grieving forums, preferably people who have had the same situation as you. These help a ton. Another thing is, monthly or however often you want, light a candle for him and pray.

    Best wishes,
    -Enrique

I honestly hate seeing threads like this. It's just. It's hurtful.
Myself, I aim to be a counselor, so I always do my best to help aid others through situations like these. I've even begun the foundation for a Program within schools to help students and other like minded individuals through their stresses. I personally, had turned to the likes of Music. Gaming. and Anime.

Music, was writing. As well as listening. But the whole entire basis, was finally finding a voice that I could claim as my own. It was... it was an inspiration and has honestly shaped me into who I am now since I had discovered music.

Gaming, the likes of which mostly MMORPGs and things of that same nature. Where you don't have to worry about the same stresses or issues of life. You don't have to be you anymore. You can at that point be whatever character your heart can take the time and create. Even, and Ideal you, that you couldn't (speaking in terms of fantasy: Magic, and stuff) do in real life.

Anime, was like a mixture of the two. Giving both a sense of a gaming, fantasy element. As well as offering a unique soundtrack... but the stories involved... almost like an entire new creation of music for both your heart and your mind.

    Lastly, there is a book.
    The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
That. Is food for the Soul.

I am so sorry... Honestly, I can understand why you feel so bad. When I'm feeling down, I usually go play my guitar. I play a more of a "happy" tone to get my mind ff things.
