    As you are all aware, people ask for donations a lot. There should be a rule where you cant ask people for donations. For 3 months, this player pm spammed me to buy him the ray gun and scavenger. I refused and told him its rude. Yet he persists. To make it worse, he begins to ask people via chat a lot for another 2 months. This needs to stop. this thread is only aimed towards beggers who ask a lot, not people who ask nicely because they cannot donate.

    Reasons:
    Not al people have a lot of money.
    its very rude.
    Spams the chat.
    It can spam a person via pm. If a player constanly pm spams you to ask for donations, it gets annoying.
    These 'beggers 'could be lying to recieve guns/ perks without spending their own money.


    If people break this rule too many times, they will get a kick or eventualy. If this continues to happen a lot, more actions wil needed against these beggers. Hopefully this will solve the donation begger epidemic among new players on the server.

    I have nothing against this idea, but some people won't be aware of it, still, there's a report and a rule breaker button. You can use that, or just change the server on which you are playing on. I'd stick with +0 since some might not be aware of that.

    I am not sure a ban is warranted. Maybe a warning and if they ignore the warning further action will be needed. Also, @Mokolee come rant on this thread. I know how much you dislike people who ask for free donations.

    The only problem is that some reasonable people ask politely for someone to donate for them, because they are unable to donate themselves. That's me. If there was a rule for that, I would never have another donor item again.
    Really, this goes under no spamming, because if someone is repeatedly asking you to donate for them, it's spam.

    Alright but here is how I deal with beggars in Mc-war. It's pretty simple yet it is very punishing.

    1) Tell them you will "buy" them what they want.
    2) Leave the server for 5 minutes and do something else but don't donate for thr beggar
    3) Come back and tell him/her to wait a week for their donation
    4) The beggar will shut up for at least a week
    5) Afterwards, they will realize what you did and you'll get what happens next.

    You can ignore my last post since I just felt like posting that for laughs.

    I like this idea. Basically, it's like spamming the chat, so a kick would definitely be a reasonable punishment.

    I do like the idea of somehow getting rid of or punishing the players that do this, however, I think that a chat filter should be added that's actually quite amusing. I remember one of the first servers I played on, if you typed in all caps, your messages no matter what was instantly put into "I type in all caps because my mommy doesn't hug me enough".
    Perhaps something similar such as "I can afford a computer but can't afford to spend 3-5 dollars on a game".

    Then that would be considered spam, which is already against the rules. If you have nothing else to add to it, I should probably lock this, since we already have a rule for no spamming whatsoever.
