What Do People Think Of The Ray Gun

I think it is a good gun even in Tdm/Ctf as long as you don't spam one choke point. I hate people who do that but otherwise it is alright.

It's terrible and annoying in TDM and CTF only good in infect in my opinion.

 

Although, I dislike the gun, it's still a good way to get anyone started on McWar.

 

It's a powerful gun, I'll give it that. But I think it's way too op to the point of annoying:

• High firerate
• OSK with direct hit
• Instant projectile
• Large AOE

Good thing it has a low amount of ammo.

 

The ray gun is so irritating that I have this habit of standing in front of a ray gun user during Infect so he can't get any kills with it. That is how much I hate the ray gun.

 

The raygun itself is OK, it is the player who uses it. I hate people who constantly use it every round and use nothing else. They can easily destroy a good killstreak. In infect, I think it is OK to use since it has such a small clip and you have to use it wisely. In tdm/ctf, I get annoyed when people use it, but if they don's just spam the other teams spawn or hold 1 choke point the whole game, I won't rage at them in chat. Besides that, I'm the person that goes,"Ray Nub!" even though I have it, which makes me a hypocrite since I think I'm a decent player.

 

I think it's a reeeeeaaaaalllyyyy overpowered weapon. It's basically a point-and-click weapon that can rack up kills pretty friggin fast. I rarely use it, maybe once or twice, and in infect only. It's very easy to spam, and requires almost no skill to use.

 

I get a little frustrated when people use it in tdm/ctf, but only when they use it pretty much every game. I don't care if people use it in infect, considering most of us do.

 

In my opinion, it's really powerful, but it isn't really good for ffa, and gets annoying when other people use it in tdm or ctf.

 

Must...Must....Must.... I rely on the RayGune to get me a higher kdr and getting me 50-0+ ever match on every map It's really good

 

Its good for me on good infect maps

 

To be completely honest, the raygun to me in tdm/ctf/ffa is incredibly bad. Really really bad. I tried using it because everyone said it was completely OP. I got 5-9. It's terrible. In infect, however it's a different story....
I may have gotten 1000000 100-0s.....

 

Meh, I have mixed feelings on the ray gun I guess. I don't own one, so of course I'm going to dislike it, but it's all a matter of opinion. It is a donation to the server, which helps fund it, so I don't really mind it. The people who own it like it, the people who don't do not. Like I said, it's all a matter of opinion.

 

great gun in infect, in tdm it sucks.

 

I dont have anything against people using it in any gamemode, but the ones that spawncamps with it and then brags about their "pro" kdr really does piss me off.

The ray gun is the best gun, that's why people use it.
