Do you eventually time out?

 

Watch your level above your EXP bar. Does it continue counting down, or does it stay stuck at a single number?

 

So you now respawn without any loot? Seems weird.

And is the question/problem fixed?

 

If it happens just wait until the server resets. I agree that this should be fixed

Well..... I start with everything frozen then I sink slowly too the bottom of the map everything turns black then I get kicked for flying -.-

 

What you're experiencing is probably this problem. It's a time out exception that's caused either by slow internet connection or a server error. Basically, your client sends a ping signal to the server and the server sends that ping back to you. But when the server takes too long to ping back to the client fast enough, then minecraft functions stop working (players moving, damage occuring, etc). You can see how much ping you have in-game by typing /ping. By using this command, you can know how laggy the server is. The bigger number you have, the more lag is happening to either your client or the server. For example, an ideal connection would be 31 ms. A laggy connection would be 589 ms.

If it's a server error causing the lag, than there's nothing you can do about it. If it's just your client lagging constantly, here's some tips I can give to fix it:

• Power cycle your PC.
• Restart your router.
• Disable any firewall software that might be blocking any connection attempts (I highly don't recommend this)
• Allocate more RAM to Minecraft by editing your profile in the launcher.

 

I agree this pvp logging thing has to be fixed NOW! It is getting out of hand once I logged off in snow to change servers then when I logged back on I was dead. Luckily my friends were there and I could tp back but if this happens when I am in the nether by my self, FUDGE! This has to be fixed soon. I think this was added intentially because I have noticed this happeneing for quite some time now, I think they added this so that people can't log on and off realy quickly and supposidly combat log well the solution to that is just add like 5 more seconds or 10 to the combat log timer. It isn't fair how u only get combat tagged for like 8 seconds but if u log off and on really quickly you die, even when your not in pvp. Once again plz fix this SOON.
