Idea Chickens

For those who don't know, I am a big fan of CSGO. For those who don't know, CSGO is a competitive game where players use tactics and teamwork to win rounds. I personally find the game as more of a mental and observant based game than a shooter. Part of the mental and observant base is noticing your environment and things that change. One of those is chickens. In counterstrike, Chickens spawn on some maps and can be used to detect enemies even when they are stealth walking. Chickens will run away from players when they come. I felt this could also be used in war-z for 2 pieces of functionality. In war-z, I feel fighting players truly has little tactic. Whoever has the better guns/armor has just won. The addition of chickens running from players could add an aspect to stealth that I feel war-z lacks. The other function is adding chickens could be a new source of food. Right now, players have the ability to get beef and cook it. I think being able to obtain raw chicken to cook would be a nice idea. Another aspect if possible is to make it so chickens can only drop its item if it is killed by an hatchet. In real life, shooting a chicken with any gun would cause a giant splatter of guts... By forcing players to use an hatchet to kill the chicken, it gives axes another use and would be more realistic. If this addition were to occur, I think chickens could be a common thing, compared to things like cows and horses.
