    Well, its a dup. That sucks. Anyways new members have to show their dedication to the server if they want to become staff, so new members shouldn't be able to apply.

    No, the other post was about how people should not be able to apply for mod with under 300 posts this one is about how people shouldn't be able to apply if they haven't been a member of the forums for a month.

    Meh, I'd prefer a post count limit rather than time limit. Someone could easily join and then just wait out the time. But, it isn't that hard to just deny applications, so just let them get denied, and learn to wait before applying again.

    300+ posts is to prove activity. We don't want some new player who doesn't feel very dedicated to the servers to get mod just to have the rank. You have to be active on all three (TeamSpeak, Forums, Servers) and 300+ posts proves that you're dedicated and helpful, if they aren't spam posts.

    I agree, but I disagree as well. I think new members should look around the forums and get teamspeak before applying, but if they want to apply and get rejected I feel that is ok. I have read some denied staff apps and you can EASILY see these we're people who didn't care much about the server. If you don't want to spend the time to write a staff app you obviously don't care for the server.

    I think this should be added. I've seen staff apps for people who just joined 2 days ago. And ever question they answer is not even in full sentences. Great idea

    This can cause massive spam.... 300 post from a new member would be like them pressing a button and hitting post.

    Most members who would spam like that wouldn't be able to access our forums because they would be banned for spam.
    They wouldn't even reach 300 posts anyway.

    I completely agree. This might create spam for around 20 messages, but we have too many good staff members and players on the forums that this would not slip by

    Actually, we have a couple staff members capable of banning, and for them tracking down new member apps is easier than cleaning up the spam caused by many, many, more.
