    So, as you have seen, players with a lot of money in their pockets can afford numerous alts and what not. Some players can't, but that's what I am not talking about now. Basically, by banning a certain player on any of the brawl servers, it could ban the player's IP address, so that he/she would not able to access a certain McBrawl server, for best example, it can be joey. He had a decent supply of alts, so when he was banned, he could have used an alt. Same for many other people on any server, really. So, once a player gets banned permanently, temporary or in any other way on a certain McBrawl server, his IP address would be banned on the same server, too. It would prevent rich people (ex: Joeymast99) to access the server that they were banned on, until the time lasts out. However, by banning his IP address, he/she would not be banned on any other of the brawl servers, unless he/she is banned on any other.

    Example:
    User123 got banned temporarily on War for C4 glitching. His IP would get banned, too, so that he wouldn't be able to access his other account, User1234 on Mc-War, until the ban gets timed out. So, User123/User1234 [alt] can still play any other brawl servers, unless he is banned on them.

    I see. A good idea, but someone with Joeymast99's hacking knowledge could easily change their IP.

    But there still are some dummies that can't do that. They will rather pay their money for unban.

    I agree about the dummies, but not everyone is one. Maybe there is a way of tracking an IP? I'm sure McBrawl could do that.

    They have IP-check. Green has done that so many times.

    Cool. We only need to use this on top hackers however, that would just be stalking. :V

    True, but it can always keep unwelcomed guests/people that have never heard of Proxy. I am sure that it can be bypassed, I have to agree, but it can work in 10% of the situations or for people without proxies.

    In extreme cases, we do bans players IP addresses from the Servers and from the forums. (Teamspeak bans work from IP addresses anyway).
    But as GreySwordz said:
    Hence the reason while you may here so and so is back on an alt account.

    I can guarantee anyone worth IP banning has heard of a proxy/used one.
    There is simply no cost effective way to ban all alts of a player.

    Most likely, yes, but they could just change their IP, and then who would we know who to ban?

    That's the point, let's say kcl729 for example. When he is banned it would check his ip adress, and if he changes it he would be banned again v:

    He has an alt with Proxy, I will promise to notify staff about it.

    Well an IP ban is pretty serious.

    If they need to have an IP ban, then it was a pretty bad offense....

    Rich snobs (Like me) don't change their IP if they get banned, they pay people to change the IP when they get banned.

    It would be easy to bypass.

    I believe they do not have a possible advantage because if they have an alt, nothing that they have purchased or items they owned would be on the alt account. So if they hack or get banned they come back, but shortly will be banned again. It's a never ending cycle, which is quite humorous if you ask me. I say, let them spend there money.

    He would have to log back on the server for the IP to update. It's not like it can check to see if he's on a proxy, Minecraft cannot do that. So, if klc is banned on his main IP, and switches to a proxy and gets on his alt, the server doesn't know that's his alt, and since the account klc has not logged back into the server, his IP cannot be updated.

    This would be a good idea based on the severity of the situation. If it was not a big deal then I don't think it would consistently happen so you wouldn't need to ban their ip. I feel if someone wants to spend their money and time managing different accounts then let them.
