    Yeah, I get that, I just have no idea how you guys are marked. Tbh I don't even get the system in Australia, it also uses some crazy numbers and ****. The average over all classes for my Year level is 9.5, and mine is 9.72 so I guess that's not bad. I think the average goes up by 0.5 for each school semester, and I work better in test conditions (believe it or not). Last year for the main english/maths tests on an average of 9.0, I scored 10.4 in english and 9.7 in maths.

    Grade point average, it's your progress of how good your doing, the higher it is, the better.

    Actually definition
    1. In some countries, all grades from all current classes are averaged to create a grade point average (GPA) for the marking period. The GPA is calculated by taking the number of grade points a student earned in a given period of time of middle school through high school.
