A /rival command

If this were added, why wouldn't I make everyone my rival and just get bonus xp for every kill? I don't see this working without major tweaks.

 

If this were to be added, I don't think you should be able to choose your own rival, as you could just /rival a friend and boost points.
Perhaps, a rival could be randomly selected for you.

 

It could be selected by your most matched player on the server.

Still, it would require a lot of coding to remember additional stats on players.

 

I could see this being used for boosting and picking on low leveled players.
Maybe both players have to agree to a duel and whoever kills the other more by the end of the round gets bragging rights? Could be fun.

 

I think this idea can be used in the WarZ section? Cause like the teams and stuff.. So you can /rival someone that you don't like.

You can rival evryone then? XP-Farm ...

 

It should randomly select your rival . I would not like this idea because it would result in excess targeting. -1

 

The literal definition of boosting if this were implemented. :V

 

All we need now are tactical insertions, an alt account, and a server with nobody online.

This isn't a totally bad idea. This is just a poorly executed way of doing it.

In TF2, if a person kept killing you in a row, he would become your "rival" (I can't remember the exact word).

If we applied this to MC-WAR, it would be similar to this. If a person got a 4 kill streak against you (he has killed you 4 times without you killing him) then he would become your rival. If you kill him, you would snap his streak and get a bonus for doing so. This can be repeated, but it is almost impossible to farm without getting a TERRIBLE KDR. If you and a friend tried to farm this, you would get a KD of 0.25 and hardly any extra XP.

 

So I will just rival every person on the server and I am all set

 

I want this added just to hear a note block version of the jingle that plays whenever that happens.

 

I should just become rivals with new players. It'll be extremely beneficial to me.
