Good luck with your lawsuit. Even if you did go through with it, I could hardly see how it would be taken seriously considering how trivial the charge is. Then you also have the glaring fact that as fast11471 so kindly noted, you made a donation, not a purchase.
If you are truly missing a donation item/rank, then deal with it the proper way by making a thread in the correct forums. Threatening to sue does not help your case.

Just checked the buycraft and VIPs do in fact get tier 2 pistols. Regardless of whether they do or not, this was a poorly chosen way to approach the issue.

 

Good luck finding a judge that will take up a lawsuit over a 5 dollar donation for a server in minecraft. I'm pretty sure lawyers cost more than 5$ too. XD

 

Another thing stated in the Bill of Rights: A lawsuit is a legal right for criminal/civil cases disputing $20.00 or above.

I understand your frustration, but you should put this in another section. If you believe you have to, go ahead and sue, I don't think it will be very successful though.

 

Thank you for telling us this small, but explosive piece of information. In a lawsuit, anything said or done can and will be used against you. You are clearly not a professional. Next time you experience an erroneous donation, simply appeal for a full recompensation in the lost donations section instead of threatening to file a lawsuit without even knowing what you're talking about.

Also; read the Terms of Payment before you donate next time. It's extremely important.

You keep stressing the same point, so let me introduce you to a fact about false advertising law:

Taken directly from the FTC website.

The pistol is a minor part of the full VIP package, and cannot be considered a "material" part of the purchase. Neither can it be misleading, as it is a well-known fact that VIPs only receive a tier-one pistol, so that offense can be marked as consumer negligence (not acting reasonably under provided circumstances, as stated in the image), due to the fact that the consumer did not do sufficient research prior to purchace. The pricing of the package guarantees far more benefit to the package regardless of whether a tier-two pistol or a tier-one pistol is received due to the nature of the rest of the items in the package. As is also EXPLICITLY stated, the package is a "virtual item with no real value", and so therefore cannot cause physical, mental, or emotional injury to the person(s) utilizing the package's items.

Unless of course, you buy $20 worth of the package. Then this becomes a whole different story. You will be quoted, and this forum thread will be used as evidence against you to show that you only bought $20 worth of the package to be able to file a civil lawsuit, rendering your lawsuit invalid, and causing you large losses in the price of a civil lawyer.
