I do not know. This is a very interesting point. I am very concerned that they will just drop all the donor items and make them unavailable for donating AND in-game credits. :frowning: I hope it is not so.

Oh and you also forgot about the fact that all the Minecraft characters will come to life, making the Creeper and Ender Dragon in the real world.

Putty said he's not worried, so no need to worry either.

true but none of us know what is going to happen because it would be a huge change to the server. maybe it is part of Mc-War 2.0 ?

Yeah, that's right. The fact that Putty isn't worried is reassuring, but some facts about what really will happen would be nice.

Don't worry guys, if the admin isn't worried, we shouldn't either. There will always be a way to work around things. We're not just saying it because we don't have nothing else to say, we really ain't even worried 'bout nuthin'.

    Great words of putty: https://www.brawl.com/threads/16798/

https://mojang.com/2014/06/lets-talk-server-monetisation-the-follow-up-qa/ <--- Read that Pretty much sums up what is going to happen to the server. Key points:
What do you mean by “hard currency” compared to “soft currency”?
Hard currency is real money or anything that can be converted into real money, including Bitcoins. Soft currency is available in-game only, and has no real-world value. The restrictions in the EULA only apply to hard currency; you may unlock things in-game with soft currency.

Can I sell “kits” for hard currency if I provide a balanced alternative for non-paying users?

If the “kits” contain gameplay-affecting features they are not allowed. Gameplay balance is not relevant to the EULA. If the items included in the kit are purely cosmetic, you can charge real money/hard currency.

So if the kits, say for instance warz's MVP rank, contain gameplay-affecting features, then they must be removed. Im pretty sure the server will be fine. Honestly the only thing they will have to do is just get rid of all the rank or perks that effect gameplay. All mojang wants is for everyone to have equal standing on servers.

I like Mojang's reason behind these changes. They are trying to help everyone have a better time on Minecraft.

Quite literally just added that but thxs for some of the key points that is quite good to have here to read

Yes the reasons are perfect but understandable to those who dont like the change. whether it be because you own a server or have donated <-- screws you over 100%

Does this mean that they'll have to remove the tpa command and enderchest that comes with donating? .-.

It's sad that other server (will not post ip to server, don't want to advertise)
Saw that, was literally typing right when you posted. Great minds think alike i guess.

They will either have to remove it, or make it available to everyone.

I believe as long as they make it available for in game currency they may keep it but otherwise it has to go.

LOL we keep typing the same thing now I have 2 people here I share a brain with XD

My guess is that they will make a few items available in-game for purchase and a few they will just destroy all together.

This makes me both happy and sad at the same time. One, I might have access to these perks seeing as I'm a non-donor in WarZ, but I'm sad because this will also affect Mc-War, in which I've already donated for some stuff that give you an advantage over the non-donors.

Mcbrawl gets a lot of donations through in-game advantage. With only the allowing of cosmetic type donor items, I can see a decrease in the amount of donations.
