this helps me actually due to the fact that I have no means to donate but i give you guys my sympathy, maybe anyone who had donated gets a special rank or someone before the server changes the donator items

See what you just said, "I've already donated for some stuff that give you an advantage over the non-donors". If you know it gives you an advantage, then it will most likely be removed, or available for in-game currency. Its sucks, i know but that's what happens when other server abuse perks or ranks, or charge to much money for them.

like I just said a good option for them would be to make all the donator items/perks available for in game currency andall people who had donated get like a donator rank

Donators, in my viewpoint, could receive a colored name or something cosmetic, something that won't affect the gameplay.

There's tons of things I can think of right now that could be allowed with the EULA, such as donating for features to be implemented in War (for those impatient players :stuck_out_tongue:). EULA opens up to other directions we would have never thought of before, so it's not always a bad thing.

I think what will happen is that the servers will buy the rights for continuing the donation system.

I doubt they'll just drop all of the donation items, because this is most likely what will happen:

If they make all donation items unavailable, the people that haven't donated already won't be able to. And the people who have already donated will still have it, and that would be unfair for the other players who don't have it.

Now, if you remove the donation items from the players who already have it, that'll get a lot of people raging. Since they had already bought the gun/equipment (etc.), and had it taken away, that would be a rip-off.

And if this happened, this server would have no choice but to either give the donation items back, give EVERYONE who donated a refund (which would give a TON of money the server has away), or just make it so that donation items would be available, but only for credits.

FC_MercuryEL7 well that was what I suggested donators receive so they can always be acknowledged. Also all the suggestions so far given seem to be similar maybe we are on the right track of what will actually happen. Keep up the good posts

I gained a couple new ideas on what they can do with the items Basically they can make it so U have to be a certain level for each gun but it is at like level 45, 50, 55, 60, and 65 or however the owner wants, also donators should have a purple name being i dont think anyone is purple, ik there is green, yellow, white, blue, pink, and orange so even red could be an option.

The current donor guns shouldn't be level unlocks because they would be way too easy to achieve and everyone would have them. However, the LAW could be a high level unlock because it's extremely UP. I'm thinking like Lvl 70. For the other donor guns, insane credit cost is a better idea.

P.S. Purple is the smod color tag.

edit the first question: only mcbrawl is exempt, screw the other servers

Can I sell “kits” for hard currency if I provide a balanced alternative for non-paying users?
If the “kits” contain gameplay-affecting features they are not allowed. Gameplay balance is not relevant to the EULA. If the items included in the kit are purely cosmetic, you can charge real money/hard currency.
is each donor item a kit? or are we allowed to still sell individual items for irl money?

All the mc-war donor items except molotoves and gernades are not available for the normal player and Donator items give huge advantages like the scavenger perk or the ray gun. also then like I said since purple is used red it is :grinning:

I think we'll all be ok, but if it came down to it I have a feeling we would still donate if it meant this server's survival. I know that I would drop any amount of money I could spare to keep this server online
Masterpieces like this shouldn't fail because people don't get guns for supporting it

well we are allowed to still donate as long as it isnt for perks and items so yeah people would still so it

Um you cant sell like mvp and vip because they give an in game advantage. I think xp should be allowed to be bought still due to no huge advantage ad unbans should still be allowed to be bought as long as there is a legit ban reason.

though I think mojang is now just trying to help their minecraft realms by killing the other servers by limiting donating :/ just a theory

They should allow all donations as long as there is a monthly cap. For example you can only donate like 40$ Per month to keep the prices from going to high

people dont even donate $40 to this server in a month because the items cost very little, but technically this wasnt actually allowed just mojang let it slide until now. but I cant blame them for this some servers have like $200 dollar ranks that people actually buy and im like 0.0 why. But donations can still be allowed but there wont be a reward anymore.

This is still illegal. There is no balancing, as Mojang stated. If a lvl 1 has a mini gun, he will have am advantage over the other lvl 1s. After August 1st, no guns, perks, or equipment that we currently have can be sold. New perks may come out that are cosmetic though.
