    You've all been there. Your on a 12+ killstreak and out of absolutely nowhere some noob walks up to you with a sword, and ruins your killstreak. Its happened to me and i usually tend to only see people level 15- do this, so i think you should make it so the sword is given as a new gun purchase for 75 credits at level 20. This is good because all those noobs will no longer kill you out of nowhere. As for OITC, anything in Onein is an instakill, ive even punched people 1 hit kill on OITC. As for gungame, its GUNgame, NOT sword game. If you cant get a kill without the sword then thats sad. I really hope this idea is implemented as I speak for all people on 12+ killstreaks xD

    Well, think of the sword as your knife in real CoD. It's not that easy to be killed with it. Just be glad it isn't insta kill full time :O.

    It wouldn't make sense for a sword to be unlocked at level 20. That would imply that it is a powerful weapon when in reality, even a USP45 would be more convenient to use.

    Here is why not: When you reach level 20, then you learn never use your sword, unlocked for nothing.
    I am level 35 and use sword a lot in gungame and FFA.

    Why not make the sword a leveled weapon. Like starting with a wood sword then each like 5 levels or so you can buy a new sword. It could go to a gold sword, then you would have to donate to get a diamond one. To get people to still want to donate the super sword could do the same damage as an MSR and a gold sword (best non-donation sword) could do the same damage as 1 hit from a dessert eagle. Wood swords could do 2 hearts damage.

    Most newbies might not understand the guns aspect that this is a shooting server and just see the knife in the hot bar and think its pvp, so they just go knifing.

    Gold is +1 more attack than wood so your wrong! And it can also be coded that wood could do less damage and gold
    to lots more

    Wrong, both do +4 damage.

    Also, I can't help but feel this thread was somewhat rage-inspired, since the sword sucks. It really annoys me when someone calls everyone who kills him a noob, if they're a noob and they killed you, what does that make you?
