A Formal Request for the removal of the p90

P90 has already been nerfed twice, once in damage and once in knockback. I doubt it will be nerfed again or removed. If you want to counter a person P90 spraying I suggest you use combos or try to get a barret headshot.

 

I honestly like the p90 it adds strategy... But if u get hit by it your screwed. So that's why there is so much camping. Just keep it most people will complain

 

The P90 and other SMG's have been nerfed. If the P90 was removed, the rest of the SMG's would have to be removed in order to be consistent.

Sure, it doesn't add strategy but if you try to combo someone and you do it well, it can beat P90 spraying any day of the week. And I think you might be slightly exaggerating the OPness of the P90. Me and my friend did some tests and it's an 8-10 shot to a full iron with body shots. And if a full iron is standing still long enough for you to spray him easily, he deserves death xD. But I think you'll find that when you get to Zone 6 towns and you get a lot of Full Diamond players, it's going to be very hard to kill people just with P90.

Look, trust me when I say, when you're coming up against full diamonds, you will either need to combo or have immense amounts of luck. P90 spraying to the body of a full diamond takes ~3 seconds to kill if all your bullets kill and the person doesn't eat food at all. If you Barret-Spas them in the body, it will kill them instantly AND it gives them no time to heal.

Another point is that, the admins have done thorough testing and tweaking and the AK-47 is now equal to the P90, as in if you spray them at each other, whoever gets the first hit will win. So if you want P90 to be nerfed, why not AK-47 too?

I've said all I will say on this topic, if this doesn't convince you, I don't think anything I say will and I don't want a flame war.

 

I'm sorry do you not under stand how op that is 8-10 shots to kill a full iron do you realize how fast the p90 shoots ?

 

In order for a P90 to be effective, you need to get them trapped in a corner or against a wall so you can spray them. The P90 is perfectly fine in my opinion as Putty even posted a video showing how the P90 and AK-47 are consistent in damage.

 

Dude if you go to the real days you wont see some random guy running doing 360 barret spas

I've had the P90, tested the P90 and have killed/get killed by the P90. It isn't that OP in my opinion. Here check this out. Notice how the shooter was doing the countdown.

 

Not so I believe.
The P90's use quite a lot more ammo then their respective rifle counterparts. If you have lots of ammo to spare, then go with a P90, if not, then rifle it is. With the additions of SMG's, it gives you a wider array of weapons to use depending on how much AMMO you have.
Anyways, my point being said, this is probably my last post discussing the matter.

 

I've rushed a team of 3 in snow and won with the ak, (with possibly 1/2 iron or leather). The AK47 does nice damage, and can kill if about 20 if your bullets hit the user.
However, you can easily escape the wrath of the AK47 by simply strafing.
With the p90, you can strafe and such, but a full clip of P90 in an area where cover is 20+ blocks away can be certainly lethal to a full iron, even if they are spamming Canned Beans.
when I was outside of Snow about 2-3 weeks ago, we were fighting a team at snow which managed to push us out of the Zone 6 Snow City itself. From behind, a user come out of nowhere and sprayed p90 from behind. I realized what happened, and began spamming food and strafing. But, that did nothing. Every p90 shot was basically 1 1/2-2 hearts, so I was getting obliterated, and even when trying to regenerate my health with food, I died to the P90 in full iron.
To be honest, it takes people out without giving them a chance to regenerate their health or to get collect their thoughts and start comboing the user to retaliate. I don't like the P90 at all.

 

Yes I do thank you. It shoots ~6 bullets per second according to figures given to me by @chickenputty. That's 1.5 to 2 seconds to kill a full iron if all the bullets hit.

 

It took 8 shots to kill a full Diamond, thats less than 2 seconds. Didn't realize it was that good.
