    A few of the submitted maps like downturn and village weren't actually built by the submitters they are commonly used on other war servers besides mc-war meaning that the submitters did not actually build the maps

    Commonly used maps such as those are used with permission if we or contributing players did not create them.

    A lot of the newer maps that were added are custom for War. You've got Sturmspitz, Patrick, and some other Mcbrawl players that have made recreations of Stormfront, Launch, Ambush, etc. The older maps that date to early 2013 and earlier than that are the ones that aren't custom-made.
