    Hello MineStrike, it is I, Celx41. I recently "quit" minecraft after deciding to focus on cs:go to improve more. Well, I kind of regret leaving it altogether. I decided to stay on my favorite server of all time,
    MineStrike.
    I love that server. I can't really explain my affliction for it. Ever since the event came out I loved it. Before they replaced it with party I loved it. And now, with it revived, I am excited to share the news that I will be playing a lot on there!
    But it made this thread to give out suggestions to improve MineStrike. So here they are.
    #1 Buy Categories
    If any of you are familiar with CS:GO, you'll know that when a round begins, you go through a category to pick your gun. Well, why not add this into MineStrike? The process is simple. The Mc-War servers use a system that I would like to copy into MineStrike. When you click the ender eye, a chest and an anvil are brought up. Why not implement this into MineStrike? When a round begins, you open the chest, then open another item named gear, SMG's, rifles, etc. This method will help to establish what each weapon is better instead of having all the weapons mixed together.
    #2 Boss Bar
    At the top of every person's screen when they log into McBrawl hub is a custom boss bar. Why not add this in? For example, it could say: Terrorists-1 Counter Terrorists-3 and adjust the scores accordingly. I think it would help instead of having to click open the chat.

    About the chat: why use that outdated technique to showing stats? Scoreboards shouldn't be too hard to implement, and they would really help.

    Besides #1, all of them seem good.
    Buying categories should only be implemented if there's more time to select weaponry. Otherwise, the current system is fine.

    As Brawler said, everything else seems fine except for the the first one. I like the system we currently have, it's more simplified and I think it's good.

    Loving the ideas. The only thing that I'm not found of is suggestion #1. Currently the items are categorized in columns, I see no need to add another button to slow down the buy process. Chest GUI systems are not very smooth as it is.

    and how about something like this for the scoreboard and boss bar: (Excuse the low quality image)

    Everything but the KD/R thing seems good. It's wrong anyways, and in Minestrike your stats reset after 10 rounds so it would be pointless to have that.

    I agree that your KDR for the match should not be tracked. As what Brawler said, a KDR would be meaningless to a lot of people because it constantly resets.
    I want to one up and say get rid of it completely. Pretty much every multiplayer game that Valve has developed which involves kills/frags do not track your KDR whatsoever (CSS, CS GO, TF 2). The reason they do this is to enforce the point of the game, which commonly is objective and team work. The only game where kills count would be the HL death matches (never played them, but I am guessing they have TDM and that like), and for CS the death match game mode (which you can guess, does not display the number of kills of the winner [only the score], and does not track the player's KDR).

    My main point, if we want to base mine strike closely with counter strike, and we want this to be a tactical shooter server rather then a kill count server, I think a KDR would make people focus more on getting the most kills then planting the bomb/defending the bomb sights.
    Now this is MY opinion. If you care about your KDR in MS, go for it. A person can play how they want to play.

    CSGO tracks KDR by the way... But I agree, KDR in minestrike is unnecessary.

    Like most people said, I like the ideas except for #1 the way that is now in minestrike is fine.
