Time management for the busy gamer...

    Masters of Minecraft,

    Balancing school, work, sports, and relationships is complicated. We all wish we had more time.

    I've found it helpful to have a day timer to assist me with scheduling different activities and play at consistent times. I take my gaming seriously as I do my cycling training. I compete in road bike races. This means a couple hundred miles of biking a week.

    Any tips or tricks for time management you would like to share with others?

    I usually get all my school stuff done first, then play away.

    Here's what I would do :
    Firstly, get your homework done.
    Secondly, get your cycling done.
    Finally, play as much as you want knowing that you have accomplished everything that you needed to do that day.

    Wake Up ( 7:00)
    Exercise (7:00-7:30)
    Shower (7:30-7:40)
    Eat (7:40-8:00)
    Play (8:00-11:30)
    Exercise (11:30-12:00)
    Eat (12:00-12:20)
    Play (12:20-5:00)
    Exercise (5:00-5:30)
    Eat (5:30-6:00)
    Play (6:00-9:00)
    Sleep (9:00-7:00)
    Keep in mind I have never used this technique before.

    Unfortunately, he has school to add in that schedule. However, I agree with the fact of exercising before school. In fact, I do this myself. It works extremely well and gives you much more time after school to do homework and play video games.

    I try to stick to the general idea of not playing until my homework is completed, I never really get up early enough to play in the mornings so I just get though my work (or sometimes not :confused:) and play mc-war for an hour or two. Then do housework and go to bed (basicly)
