Idea Boost pad (Horse race)

    So in Mario kart you have those "Boost pads" that will give you a little bit of speed for just an amount of time.

    So, I suggest we have those in Horse race too because it's looking the most like mario kart in minecraft.
    So how do we do that in minecraft?
    Well, I was thinking about maybe this design?

    That can still be changed. So when the horse of a player touches the pressure plate the horse should get a speed 1 effect for 5 seconds to make him faster (Can still be changed).
    I don't think this should be too hard to code and it will make horse more fun in my opinion :wink:

    Not all of our current maps have these ( or atleast in the edition I have ) but for the ones that do we can use it there but not in the others. +1 this can be helpful on many future maps to come.

    I would give an extra speed boost and a reduce in handling if possible. Other than that it seems good.
    >add bumping karts = trolling on Rainbow Road

    I think that this would be a great idea to add to horse race. It adds another aspect of fun to the already fun race.
    The reduce in handling, as Brawler mentioned, would be a good to balance out the advantage to not make it too op.

    This idea is good :grinning:! But I think if we have pads on races only if they don't have a place where you can fall, as the rainbow dash one, pads will make it Too fast and you would fall :frowning:

    Ill build some of these in Fire and Ice Horse Race Map i am working on

    And why not do a single pressure plate to make it harder to hit
