what happend to the maps cs_assault cs_italy and others

    maybe some of the old players remember realy cool maps like assault and italy but why they got removed?

    and dont say the maps are deleted cause i found cs_italy right next to the westwood map :V

    I really liked those maps, maybe they just weren't good enough.

    cs_assault was my favorite map i have no idea why they should not be good enough :l

    I liked those maps, I am not sure why it got removed but maybe because none liked it or because of it having tons of glitches.

    The reason they were removed is because they were hostage rescue maps. In hostage rescue, counter terrorists must extract a hostage (villager) to the rescue zone by shifting next to him and walking. However, this plugin is currently buggy/glitchy and therefore they removed all maps that were meant to be played on hostage rescue, which include assault and Italy. I hope this helped and they fix those bugs soon!

    i know This but cs italy and maybe assaullt (i dont remember) also had the bomp defuse game mode so theres no reason to remove This awesome maps

    No, Italy and Assault are both hostage rescue maps on CS:GO, and seeing that the server is based around CS:GO, they probably wouldn't be demolition maps. But, I can hardly remember hostage rescue now, so you may be correct that they also had bomb defuse!

    Italy/Assault were both hostage rescue (Italy IK for sure, but not so sure about Assault) I miss the old MineStrike :frowning:
    I played for a few months before it was removed D:

    Yeah. it was fun before it was removed. It just didn't receive the attention it needed to.
    And just to clarify, they're both hostage rescue maps. I play CS:GO a lot and am familiar with different maps and gamemodes.
