So i have been playing on this server for a short while now, and I was thinking, all you do when you "scope in" is get slowness, but then I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if there were custom texture for iron sights on the weapons?" And thats what I am going to ask you. Do you guys think it would make the server better if there were custom textures for iron sights on the guns, I do for one.

there is an mc-war client that adds this (or something related to this). IMO the slowness is more useful as it allows you to see more then with a scope (from the client)

there is a mc-war client that does this, but it makes the game lag a ton for me (not sure about other people)
You could ask someone to make a custom texture pack for you if you want scopes on a gun.

Here is a link to the War client with scopes in it. You could have scopes without the client if the pumpkin "GUI" [IMG]
was textured. When a player hit left click on the mouse, a pumpkin would pop on their head and they would see a scope. When the player hit left click again, the pumpkin would disappear.

Due to Minecraft limitations this isn't possible. As said above though, phantamanta44's modification allows for custom iron sights and scopes, as well as customization to said sights.

This has been suggested several times before, but denied due to the fact that it would be extremely limiting in part to players who don't use the texture pack.
