    Looking at a code perspective, it seems we're all setup and ready for 1.8. Just going to do some testing and see what happens.

    I'd rather you keep 1.7 until OptiFine and Forge come out for 1.8 since they're so important to a lot of players.

    1.7 and 1.8 clients will be able to connect. Also, 1.8 Minecraft has been optimized, so I'm not sure if everyone needs OptiFine still.

    Hm, interesting.
    I heard something about not loading caves when you can't see them or something and it will help reduce lag, I hope it works c:
