    Why not add the idea of being able to like people's post in the shout box, it's not a big deal but it's just an idea. There could be a maximum of about 10 likes per minute to prevent like spamming, I'm not sure if this is possible in the shoutbox yet though.
    This is just a simplified idea for the shoutbox.
    Write any improvements that could be used for this idea.

    It's a chat box though. I doubt chat boxes have like buttons, or should have like buttons.

    Let's see if it is possible though, plus explain why it shouldn't have a like button? I did say it wasn't a big deal and only affects mainly the shoutbox.

    eZ like spam, making likes almost worthless. I don't believe this will be a good idea.

    Too much room for possible abuse and it's not even possible without another fully custom coded shoutbox addon.
