Congratulations on your nuke, @B9E1N ! I've nuked plenty of times on arkaden with the skully, but you managed to do it with minigun. Don't listen to those who call you a noob, just use what suites you best in order to nuke. Another gun could have been a bit more challenging, yet, you still nuked. Have you ever tried to nuke with the MSR and deagle (fan-tastic combo)?

I think he should do a Barrett/Magnum nuke. It's more challenging and original than the MSR/Deagle class.

Basically what happens.
Congratulations you nuked while camping just like hundreds of other people.

 

No one called him a noob or said that he's bad or something like this. People just told him that getting a nuke with the mini isn't as awesome as nuking with the m16 or spas-12.

Yes, the community (and me too) is really harsh against things like this. Lord_Roke already posted a thread regarding some achievements. I did a thread regarding the donor guns. But the forums gets spammed daily by threads of people talking about their awesome achievements. And yes, they are awesome in the person's point of view. You are happy when you get something cool that only a few people can achieve. I was happy getting a triple nuke with the mini on the first try, I was happy winning flawless FFAs with it, but I didn't post them. For a good reason:
I know that people are against things like this. They are against it because it's simply unfair/OP/unbalanced, because the staff/development team doesn't do anything about it, so the community protests.

If the mini was balanced and the community and I would know that it's a challenge to nuke with it, I would instead congratulate you.
Maybe, the community wants something new? Maybe, they are just sick of people posting things they did already ages ago?
This community is still great. I see hundred of threads of people posting their first nuke and they nearly always get good responses, so people try to achieve that too. But instead of making something different or even more challenging, they do it the simple way and are surprised that they don't get the same response.

I never saw you playing. I don't know how good you really are. Maybe you are really good with shotguns? I don't know. But I can only assume your skill level by the things you post and say. I quit mc-war for a lot of time, because of the donor guns. I also have a bad attitude against them, but I tried to tell the admins and it didn't work. So I try to tell the people, that you don't earn the same prestige when you play with the mini. Isn't this what everyone wants? Prestige in the community? Being well-know?
Maybe you are just someone, who actually plays for fun. And when you got a nuke, you just thought about posting on the forums. Why not? Maybe they will like this too? But instead you get the responses you didn't think of. This is why you think that people who tried to tell you, that you don't get this prestige with the mini, hate you or think that you are a noob. They tried to tell you in a friendly way, like I did. I am sorry if you interpreted my post as a hatefull comment. I (and nooone else on this thread) never used the word "noob" against you. I tried to say it in a ironic/non-hatefull way, because I thought that you know about that minigun-problem, because you joined over a half-year ago.

I was exaggerating, the point is people point out how it isn't that impressive because it isn't with a gun they want him to use though it would be just as un impressive as if anyone else done it because they all achieve the nuke in the same way.
Also can't help but notice the excessive amount of errors you have made that you have not been bothered to fix.

 

We minifunners! Also listen to @MrFoxtastic he's right bout almost everything btw congrats, at least you have a memory of your first nuke. I don't remember my first nuke

 

I don't understand why players rate these threads pointless and dislike them. This a thread regarding someone's achievement in Mc-War, why rate it pointless? This goes with level up posts, kill posts etc. there's no point to rate it a dislike or pointless if it's in the discuss section of Mc-War unless it's like a hacker report or something else.
If you rated this pointless or a dislike how would you feel if someone rated your level up post or nuke post a dislike?

Anyways congrats on your nuke! Great job, also don't let the community call you a noob. They're most likely jealous that you nuked or emped, you can use what ever gun you want.

They do it because they think it's the easiest thing in the world and it shouldn't be a thread because nuking with mini is like nuking with cbow+armor which in many peoples opinion is OP, hence it was rated pointless

 

Don't use minigun to nuke for a lv 21 thats very "noob like" for your lv try to nuke with ak-47 thats a very good gun

 

At that level a nuke with any gun is fine.
Even an EMP is good.

 

Mini isn't all that "nooby" on any gamemode. If you don't wear armor, you're just as vulnerable as any other player. You sometimes waste more ammo than is gained (assuming scav used.) Someone that doesn't have the best of computers won't be able to dodge every bullet incoming. All in all, a nuke is a nuke and it doesn't matter which gun used. Honestly I think any weapon is pretty easy to nuke with as long as you have scav and use the right tactics. Congrats on your nuke!

 

If a player payed for it they have the right to use it and not be called "mini noob".

My take on this in my case based on my personal views and morales. . .I'm here to have fun. I'm not here to be told how often to use a gun or not. I use whatever I feel like using. That alone makes me enjoy it. It makes me come back again and again. Maybe I want to challenge myself with lower tiered weapons, maybe I just want to go rambo with mini, or terrorist robin hood with cbow. . .I'm here for fun. Why would I care to do anything other than that? Sure theres competition in it, but in the end, we are all here because we enjoy it. Why bother being here if you don't enjoy it. So use whatever you like, whenever you like. That, and that alone, is why you are here in the first place. To follow your own ideals on what you find "fun".
You got a first nuke? AWESOME! You enjoyed getting it right? AWESOME! That, to me is, what matters. Have a great time man.
