Cyber-bullying, ddosing, swatting, doxing, back-dooring, etc.

These actions, even though online, could have MAJOR EFFECTS offline.

I just want to raise awareness about this because I realize that it's actually a growing problem in our community.

I have been there. Barely anyone on McBrawl knows my story and knows that I've been there. Some of the ones that do know me, didn't know that I've been there. It hurts. To some more than others, yes; but it still hurts.

I'm someone who had little to no friends all the way up until 8th grade. Gaming to me was my life. It still sort of is, just not on computer (More so xbox etc.).

So DDosing someone just so you can kill them ingame? That hurts. It hurts even more when your so-called friend betrays you. There's a reason I take this matter so seriously on the forums, I just haven't said it. There are depressional people in this world who do anything just to try to keep their mood up. I, "wrecked" at gaming. Every time I won big battles on WarZ or other FPS games, it was like a little accomplishment to me.
It got my mind off the real world and into the virtual. It helped me through so much of my life and has made me who I am today.

You may think that Swatting, backdooring, ddosing, doxing and etc. are minor crimes, (and yes they are in a way) but those minor crimes can lead to a major one.

I'm not trying to get you to feel bad for me and please refrain from commenting about it. I'm just saying, speak up. That random person always huddled in the corner with a book in his or her face may be dealing with this at home on their computer. They might be thinking about suicide.. You never know what they're thinking. Lying is easy. They can lie to you in a heartbeat. "Oh, I'm fine." could be a lie. So what, you just walk away and find out the next day that they committed suicide?

Speak up. That's all that really has to be said. If you want to know more, just PM me. (Bell rang for next class)

It's all true and I totally agree with all of it.
But here is the thing, no one will speak up for anyone because the world does sadly not work like that.
A while ago I was on mc-war and someone was talking about commiting suicide, some people literally said:
''Just do it, no one will miss you.''
I stood up for the suicidal person because I know exactly what he felt like but I was the only one that said anything about it. That's f*cking messed up and it pisses me off but no one is gonna do a thing about it.
The best advice I can give to anyone is: Music on, volume to 100%, ignore the world and believe in yourself.

DDoS and DoX over a game is just messed up. I don't even get why these things exist, they only cause harm.
Stand up for the right thing, even if you're against the majority. Don't go with the flow if it's wrong.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Please spread the word and try to get people to "Mature" up and start taking this matter seriously. It's ridiculous how much bullying happens over this game and it is, as Karo said, sickening.

Speak up, defend, and do whatever you can to help the person in need.

I know how it feels to get bullied and I always try defending people from it. That's one of the reasons I became mod. I would be able to defend people and I will always try to do that the best I can
